Hopes and aims of today and tomorrow
In light of existence, may lead to sorrow
Siblings are taken, into account and viewed
In the overall picture, freedom is to be true

Where does one go, when one has to move on
Where does one work, for tomorrow to go on
When you reach an age, new lands you move to
The need for commitment, on the door you go through

Siblings, my family - the heart of my soul
They have to be, it's part of my goal
I am them and they are me
Where ever i go, they have to be free

Will today or tomorrow be then undecided
My children and me, we will never be divided
Time will tell, as all would be agreed
My three boys and one girl, are apart of me

Here

If today is only tomorrow’s yesterday
And yesterday’s tomorrow is today
And today is tomorrow from a point of view
Is today where I always stay?

If to get here I go there and there
Only gets me here how come it’s said where
You can’t get there from here
When even if I go there I end up here?

Why do we search for things to fulfill
Our so empty and meaningless lives
And why do we search everywhere but inside
Where every answer resides

Today is tomorrow in yesterday’s eye
And over there is here once you reach the view
Stop searching the world to fill your life
Look here to yourself and today find you

Whimsical Illusion

Distances separate tomorrow, today bother why?
City streets and shops, neon lights and mall crops,
highways and cars, cafe frappe and chocolate bars,
low rise denims to woo, funky earrings and chic shoes,
blackberry and fruit cherry, discos and bows,
their jazzy tops, my weekly flops,
their silence and my chop- chops,
trashed and caught up why?
foreign soil, a stranger tomorrow, today bother why?

Dreams manipulate tomorrow, today bother why?
Look down and frown, from where is this clown?
Hello friend, which town?
Why wear grandma's gown?
break limitations friend, come down,
eye to eye, away from money's sound,
Goodbye friend, different sky , distance noun,
overlook me friend, anticipate why?
Different people, views and news tomorrow, today regret why?

Today

If today is only tomorrow’s yesterday
And yesterday’s tomorrow is today,
And today is tomorrow from a point of view
Is today where I always stay?

If to get here I go there and there
Only gets me here, how come it’s said where
You can’t get there from here
When even if I go there I end up here?

Why do we search for things to fulfill
Our sometimes empty and meaningless lives,
And why do we search everywhere but inside
Where every answer resides?

Today is tomorrow in yesterday’s eye,
And over there is here once you reach the view.
Stop searching the world to fill your life,
Look here to yourself and today find you.

Tommorrow Is Another Day

Dream today the sadness away
Dream today the trials will fade
Hunger, thirst, and victims of the elements
Pain, sorrow, and sickness vanish

Work and money are in proportion
Love is easy
I won't think of that today
Tomorrow is another day

Body Broken

I know today will end up
so much different from the start
I will be unrecognisable
my limbs will fall apart
I'll break my heart and lose my mind
my head stuck below ground
I'll drag my feet and wring my hands
deaf ears will hear no sound
I'll sew my lips together so
my screams stick in my throat
dont want exhales escaping
so my fingers pinch my nose

I know today will end up
so much different from the start
collecting excess pieces
from my broken bitter heart
no band-aids and no bandages
can keep me feeling whole
a big black hole of sorrow
where there should have been a soul
I woke today as nothing
but a shell of strangled screams
And by tonight i'll realise
nothings as bad as it seems.

Today

-*Today could have been a great day

Today could have been like the sunrise dancing in the fragrance

of Christmas morning

The clouds held hope as if today would hold ocean blue smiles of memories,

as if today, the minds of fellow earth-walkers

would be clear and fresh like the moment the rain stops falling,

as if today had hidden a hint of magic under the soil of our souls,

as if yesterday was a mistake written in history,

that today is trying to make up for...

but as every hour passed,

an erupting nausea of deja vu hurled

from within my internal disappointment

You see

today was just like yesterday

and I have a feeling that tomorrow

won't be any different...
