The Apple of my Eye
**Quintuple Acrostic**

Tempting me to steal her
Heart. I yearn for her much, yet not
Enough.

Ample
Positives, no glaring weaknesses.
Peaceful, charming, witty. I'm
Lusting for her
Embrace.

Olive skin, long toned
Fluorescent legs.

Mischievous with much influence I
Yearn for her much!!!

Enchantingly poetic, the
Yuppie of my dreams. I feel
Exploited by her charm

This thought inspired by Sara Kendrick....

Prisoner of Silence (Part Three)

She wept softly at what her life had become
in her mouth held silently chained still and unused sat her tongue.
Truth stared into her eyes and said what do you want me to do?
Let me tell you a story and I'll ask again when I'm through.
I've known you for a while now and I've been waiting for your call.
It was when you cried out for a rescue that your chains began to fall
Sitting silent and in this cell, with her head down and eyes half closed
She decided she needed to look again and see the way Truth glowed.

She lifted up her head and tried to focus her eyes
Suddenly she saw Truth above all the mountain of lies.
She wasn't all alone as she had thought before
The truth had been there waiting for her like an open door.
All the years of lies ran – she heard them shrieking down the hall
The more she focused on the Truth, the more the lies got small.
The chains began to break, their hold could be no more
For Truth had it's vengeance and higher was his score.

She shifted on the bed as the tears continued to flow.
She thanked God for her freedom from the undertow.
Finally she made it to where she wanted to be
Finally, yes finally, she was free.

On the Perimeter of the Place of Promise

to be in the right place at the right time
destined for greatness with God on your mind
when you're on the perimeter of the place of promise there's no time to hesitate
just trust that by the Lord God you've been set up for this date
at the appointed time there will be an obstacle to overcome
but through Jesus you have the victory so consider the challenge done
don't procrastinate, you need to keep pushing on
as your God-given destiny is just on the horizon
and if you perish, if you perish, if you should happen to die
remember nothing in life is worthwhile if you don't venture to try
destined for greatness with truth and righteousness in your heart
for nothing against you will prosper in the presence of the Lord God

Queen Esther was in the right place at the right time
positioned by the hand of God to for her people do something kind
uncertained and unsure at first she prayed and fasted with a heavy heart
urged by her beloved Uncle Mordecai to for her people do her part

sometimes we have to be pushed and prodded to do what is right
and then search inside ourselves to see the truth in God's light
and if a sacrifice is needed and a life must be given
it may be your destiny for by the Holy Spirit you've been driven
on the perimeter of the place of promise at your godly appointed date
and if you perish, you perish just be like Jesus and don't hesitate
