Implant Within me a Seed

Implant within me a seed monthly, though the pulverization derides me. Let it conjure hope and solace to shatter my reality as venomous weeds entwine it, sickening me as I lay still in the liquid birthed from my own fruit. Implant within me a seed; let the feral roots ensnare it, suffocating my every breath and cell until it ruptures--obliterated within my frail and aching tree. It be destined to return but stripped of the avant-garde its predecessor once possessed. Implant within me a seed; it’ll part for months, leaving my psych mangled as blood seeps through trypophobic perforations crafted solely by its hand. The seed, thriving as I decay, renders its final blow the day we die. Implant within me a seed; force it into a sanctum where it does not belong, and let fate, warped and distorted, contort my marred soul. That which I once refused to acknowledge shall now delude my senses, forcing me to reach for those who feel not love but only pity for my aberrant roots. Implant within me a seed; let me perish within its absence, yet perpetually suffer under its presence. Wound me with my own creation.

Your end creates you
It will return to rip you
Plant it, watch it die

Penile Implant

being treated for fructose spasms
during one of the last movies on Earth
after the great Enema of 2012
when the heaters were on high
the authorities were called in
but his claims were all backed up
by the logic of chimes and daggers
creatures of comfort unite
you have nothing to lose but
your milk mouth and baby spoon
I went chatty and personal
diving from couch to chair
on a sponge mop broomstick
the room remained a mess
but the leaps were longer
what but imagination is boundless
so he stamped and splashed singing
through the sewers of ideology
and carnival freaks with wings
made all my dynamos hum again
thanks to the exponential growth rate
of an adequate knowledge base
but then contemplating death
can make you crazy enough
to assassinate your biology instructor
and succumb to the lure of bland abjection
and an archaic tidal wave of pessimism
and the hedonist's morphological pedigree
a prized quality among the really sage
and their many colored appendages
we all know more than we let on
it's a conspiracy of noise and silence
attained through bribery and deceit
where substitutions screech and skid
where sugar cane machetes dance in the rain
and the Moon weeps with a broken heart
made me write on her blackboard 100 times
cognition is not possession
until his soul jumped out his eyeballs
caught trafficking in non-essentials
with its lures and scuffles
but then it is a nasty game
played by hungry cartoon caricatures
tricking children out of their food
where every day and night is Halloween
until the euphoric chameleons
in a herpes garden of delight
of decadence infantilism and sleep
whistle through their nose hairs
beauty is tenuous who is to protect her
awaken her choirs bloom her lilacs
and rainbow tresses and panting mamaries and
oh dear impale me dead where was I
the suction had his mind in a spin
with each gust of wind his forehead
began its evocative dans mort
don't try this at home kids
just kidding its OK to pantomime
ancient actors before their campfire
as you can well imagine

Miracle Implant

you got a brain in there you're reading this
when's the last time you found yourself using it
to continue assembling the puzzle pieces
in the proximity of an existential grievance
minus the usual cheap suit wonderment
in agitated defense of your cosmic rights
with a recognition that truth is a good buzz
for all you approval junkies out there
chronically frightened in the absence of threat
evil continues lurking beneath the bed
given certain necessity preconceptions
about life and fate and disinhibition
shouting up periscope blindness is so passe
the actual eventual bearing down on your position
across eons of engineered and directed darkness
Little Jimmy Nickjean flicked his Bic against the fuse
simply tired of the the chronic trickery
delivered doggedly right between the ribs
by the nearest Projectionist Union gangster
right on schedule a pretext of need in tow
Jimmy's rangy accomplices in distracted liberation
hoisted high the jolly skull and crossed swords
First Mate Nutmeg Lieberman's hips were heaving
like a flat bottom skiff in a Santa Anna swell
oars pumping biting into the foam
swamped by her peculiar passions
screaming with abandon in concluding fruition
splintering windows in a large radius
causing dogs to break their chains
and hump their masters' legs
or any errant pedestrian caught in the open
tails wagging tongues flapping
filling gaps in logic with fantasy
and absent minded indifference
our parched and pale poet
questioning the infinite minutiae
the typewriter in his head going clackety clack
until the cows come home
and goats and pigs and ducks and parrots
an unwished list of the persistently dismissed

The Implant

His memory of the day was strange
With snippets of things he tried to arrange
There was a blinding light
And then an unearthly face that wasn’t right

An instrument came from above
And punctured his neck with a jerking shove
Then things went blank from that time on
Until he awoke in bed to the morning radio song

He felt his neck and the lump there
That worried him with the alien device flair
His local GP wanted to do some tests
But he thought it was better to let it rest

Now at night he has fateful dreams
Of places and things that were so extreme
You see there are alien worlds circling round
And other civilisations that humans haven’t found.

Wisdom implant, influx direct
There is no room for doubt
Essence of presence stands erect
Prayerful and devout

Spinal column vibrates
Each node within gyrates
Tingling never abates

As of soul’s want
