Premium Member Sammy Davis Jr, Pure Talent

Sang like a whippoorwill, up high on a hill
Played trumpet like Satchmo, with panache and skill
To watch that man tap-dance, gave even Gregory Hines a thrill
As Ella Fitzgerald told us, 'Sammy's pure talent' distilled

Notes:
  1. See 'The Birth of the Blues,' (movie) c. 1955, b & w,
to view Sammy's exceptional singing, trumpet
playing, and tap-dancing ability. (4:39 clip)
2 See 'Tap,' (movie clip) 1981, to view Gregory Hines,
a remarkable tapper himself, in awe of Sammy's
       (and his friends') tap-dancing.
3 See clip of 'Ed Sullivan Show,' 1964, (3 minutes,
27 seconds) to see Ella introduce Sammy as 'pure
talent,' and then to view their incredible jazz singing.

Pussy -Vulnerabilities

Pussy (Vulnerabilities)

Pussy

Men sometimes put no value to sex and the sacred decision a woman might hold dear for the reason to
Submit options of letting you indulge in her essences. See some have had men all over the world and there is one thing for
Sure that pussy has a name never a face, Mumu , myse ,kisse, pepita, catellus, passera, mita it all mean
The same thing Pussy, pussy, pussy. And the truth of the matter is your sometimes not remembered or
Even thought about once you give the pussy up!
So guard and respect your pussy and you’ll be wiser for not giving it up, I thought of all the times I
Gave up my pussy and grieving the next day he was gone, nothing but a memory of the condom he either didn’t
Or did put on! I have disrespected my body for a moment of pleasure far too valuable to get rid of, and
The 15 minutes or less or if I’m lucky an hour of pleasure soon will be forgotten as he’s on to the next one
Or back with his main love or the one whose holding out, but she worth waiting for.
Pussy is abuse sometimes tainted with the smell of semen left inside you with your naïve ass, I’m not going
Anywhere imma be here for you, trust me so the pussy stinks reeks of disappointment!
As they get dressed to leave a delicate kiss on the forehead and a polite thanks for the pussy!
Don’t be this chick (hold out on giving up the Pussy, be known for your worth)
You’re so much more than ass or pussy! I now know my worth!

Written by Monica Chrisandtras Hines 9/16/2014
You have to be selective and or practice abstinence in order to be valued ,some women get lucky and he does come back the next day ,but for how long ? Men like to chase and if you give it up too easy its a waste of time ,hes no longer interested and will soon prowl for another ! Keep it to your self till the time is right ,if he won't wait then forget about him!

With sadness, that never ceased,
I watched your Father shot on live television.
I was living in Chicago and Elena, a baby
in my arms asleep.
Your Father, Robert had just won California
and “on to Chicago” was his mission.

Sirhan-Sirhan., anti-Isreal, pro-Palestinian ,
shot your father in the hotel’s kitchen, near dead.
I sat in Chicago, in tearful disbelief, and all I could
feel was profoundest grief!
Screaming crowds wept as deep crimson-
warm, blood seeped from your father’s head.

And here you are now with your lovely wife and
actress, Cheryl Hines, about to follow in your
Father’s footsteps!
Your voice may sound strange as you are
affected by spasmodic dysphonia.
I am just an extraordinary American because I
do not think one party is a religion whose
Ordinances must be obeyed and kept.

American Gangster

In the movie Denzel said Bumpy Johnson was just as important as Martin Luther
King
"Meditate"
Think about what that statement really means
American Gangsters are idolized as Kings
And what Martin said is just a dream
Unfulfilled
Because to the child of the ghetto its not real
Hustlas admired while customers dispised
To acquire clothes, cars, and women is the drive
American Gangter is how the youth want their lives defined
But every gangter isn't a Frank Lucas and survives
Some are locked up and doing time
While others were victims of homicide
Either way someone loss a relative and the family cried
Old hustlas say they had to do it
But that doesn't have to be our reality
We don't have to do it
Its a new day, new time
I know we still have the same crime
But lets approach life with a different mind and not admire the success behind
the crime
Cause in the end most got played
Because none of the gangsters took any of their possessions to their graves
Did they really have it made?
If Richie Porter, Karlton Hines, and Felix Mitchell could talk
I wonder what would they have to say?
They would probabily say "Follow Martin's dream of peace and equal rights
And seek to make money legally because making money illegally isn't worth
giving up your rights.
The fast life is fast and you can't keep up
And don't worry about earthly possessions you can't keep that stuff
So for money don't sell your soul
Cause no matter how much you acquire you can't fill that hole
I wish we would've known all that before they dug our hole
Then maybe we wouldn't have sold our soul
But for y'all youth there is a better way
y'all can live a life a better way
And if you don't listen to nothing else, please listen to what we say
In the end crime really doesn't pay."
Thats what the dead gangsters would say
Crime doesn't pay
Thats what they would say

hot dogs,
baked beans Saturday special
Leontyne Price sings Aida
with stereo clarity
Ma makes a box cake
Duncan Hines yellow
steamed up kitchen windows
let anybody know
life is happening
here
I twist and turn toward her
on the little green stool
each turn a question
each twist an understanding
frozen spinach too
with coca cola
it isn’t a refrigerator
it’s the icebox
soon cake aroma fills the house
chocolate icing from a can
waiting to be laid
Saturday special 3 pm
always a little rain
and cozy love within

Only Blue Matters

Sorry if I leave you star shooken
I’m just doing me
I’m just dancing like no one is looking
All the good things are taken
So I’m looking for great
I’m eating sweat potatoes and success
Man I love what’s on my plate

Hate me
Regret me
Does it look like I care?
I have Whitney
Tired of these Hedgehog lookin Heffas
Who told you yall was pretty
I am poison ivy
But you can’t get rid of me
I'm doing me
2 quarters 5’3
Hold a grudge
You don’t matter
Only blue matters
Be vindictive
I’m eating sweat potatoes and success
Man I love what’s on my plater
Does it look like I care
I have 2 jobs and I’m healthy
I'm doing things that make me happy
Thank you Jasmine Hines cause she compels me
I'm doing me
Act like a b
I’ll climb into your mind
Like little white boys climb trees
Call me names
Do what you please
Just make sure you don’t come my way with you fleas
Does it look like I care?
It's not like I believe you
I know you're full of sin
You're just a liar
Keep to yourself

I'm doing me
And I'm not feeling sorry
Karma is real
It'll come back around
You think you're free from me
Think again
The loss of me will haunt you
I'm just an American boy
With a Kentucky soul
A unorthodox spirit
Two coffee brown eyes
An Angela Renee heart
French lips
A midget body
A pisces attitude
A hair grease mind
2 awesome dogs
1 awesome sister
1 missing sister
1 piss poor sister
A Lexington love
A set of piss poor social skills
A Phoenix Place childhood
All the way to the end
Ima eat everything on my plate
No if, ands, or depends
If I piss you off
Better go buy you some depens
Only truth matters
Only blue matters
You read to the very end
So only you matter

Imagination

Imagination
( you are never too young or too old to put your imagination to use)

                 Imagine the concert

The concert did not cost a dime
But every soul was there- from the beginning of time .
It was the biggest concert the heavens had ever seen.
The greatest dancers and singers that were ever known.
On the largest television screen it was shown.

You had the crooners, the swooners,
the rockers, the boppers, and the opera singers
All gathered together for one big show.
In heaven- this is the way to go.

It started off with the “tappers” coming on to the stage
All well known in the archives of fame.
First Bill “Bo jangles” Robinson with Fred Astaire in back .
Then Jean Kelly. Ginger Rodgers,
and Gregory Hines picking up the slack.

Then came the female singers who were all
In the hall of fame, and all well known by their names.
Billie holiday , Lena Horne , Doris Day and Peggy Lee
Judy Garland and Dinah Shore-and lets not forget
The Andrew Sisters- who gave us so much more.

Then out came the male singers who touched the
Hearts of women all around the world
And made all their hair stand up and curl.
Mario Lanza , Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin
Just to name a few, then let us not forget the soul singers
Otis Redding ,Sam Cooke, and Nat “king” Cole
Then Marvin Gaye who really put on a show.

OH ! This concert was a wonder to behold !
And the greatest one was yet to unfold.
Everyone waited in anticipation
As the angels blew their trumpets
And the harps let out the most beautiful melody.
For behind that big curtain
Walked out our all Mighty King.

All knees bent ,and all heads bowed
You couldn’t hear a pin drop
Not a single solitary sound.

He gave the heavens his blessings
As every face lit with delight
And all the way to earth
You could see this glaring light.

This is the concert- that one day we may all see
If we follow his words, and help to save all humanity.

I'M a Girl

I'm a girl, that's nice
I don't deserve a price.
I'm someone that's unique,
not someone too weak.
I take a chance to yellwhatever out;
I'm not going to pout,
Cuz I know i'm proud,
to say it out loud.

My life is like the sky,
Its amazing, but its so beautiful.
I'm tredding along the lines,
walking the hines
of my shoes.
I'm skipping along
As I come along.
The truthfullness of life.

I'm a girl, who's strong,
and proud, to know that
I'm not fat.
I don't name myself,
I don't blame myself.

Here I am Living the life
That I know's good,
And I'm trying
To fing out
Just how good of a life I live.

I know a unique man.
He served in a country that produced broken bodies and souls.
Agent Orange defoliant became part of him there,
to ensure pain would be his companion for life.
Even so,
he devoted his life to the paraplegics at Hines.
His care was unmatched by all the others,
because he loved his charges,
the special way, a soldier loves his unit, more than his own family.
He invited me into his world,
to read poetry to the bedridden,
and give them creative outlets they were desperate for.
And to sit with them in the sunlight, at picnics,
and marvel at their optimism and spirit,
greater than everyday people with bodies whole.
