Back then Fall called to me
Waving the challenge of ice
Betrayal of crunch crackle leaves
Too many layers to move in
Yet not enough to stand in
Back then family needs
Drove the hunter
And fed the killing joy
That flick of tail
That raising head
Was roasting on my table
The need's been met
The hunt's for joy
I shiver more no longer boy
And can no longer take a stand
I catch them yes but understand
I still require the need to know
Before I let them go
The simple raw of life intense
To travel where there is no fence
To see the beautiful of life
In wind that cuts without a knife
The summer's gone it's blown away
The Fall is running day by day
As full of joy I'm led astray
By they who live in present tense
Supplying me with recompense
Drink from buck cup - hiccup!
Shot booze - snooze zzzzzzzs
Bee buzz. Honey in tea for me
One eye open, need buck cup
Lucky cup, supper drink a cup
Of brewed cinnamon brew too
Blues on the radio, sip. Dip
Cookie, I'm no rookie to drip
Drip, coffee smells fill the room
Smoking cigarettes, no regrets
Filling the pages without gloom
Fruit juice with my coffee morn
A new day is born. No morning
Can start my day without dismay
I can say it's the day of mourning
No scorning, no spanky, no hanky
Angels on high, sigh a sign of relief
That grief has left, deaf to my ear
No fear, no more tears, no jeering
Just pretty earrings, pearls of oysters
Oyster crackers in my soup. Scoop
A story with glory to the flags on
The wall. Eagles in the hall, tall and
Small. On the walls: fish and dishes,
Tall tales, whales, foxes, boxes of
Dishes - I wish forever more to store
My things and bring happiness to
Those without a doubt. In a drought
I have water. Slaughter a cow, how
Else can you grill without the kill.
Still waters run deep in my buck cup.
I will still hiccup, and supper potluck.
COULDN'T WAIT TO GET HOME
TODAY TO YOU YOUR ALL I THOUGHT ABOUT
ALL DAY I WANTED TO LEAVE EARLY FROM WORK TO
COME HOME TO YOU
BUT I COULDN'T WELL I'M HERE NOW
I WANT YOU TO COME TO ME LIKE I IMAGINE ALL DAY TODAY
OOH YOU SMELL SO GOOD I CAN'T WAIT TO TASTE YOU
I KNOW I SHOULDN'T BUT I CAN'T HELP IT
JUST A NIBBLE OR TWO NOBODY
WILL KNOW BUT YOU AND I
YOUR SO CREAMY YOU JUST MELT IN MY MOUTH
JUST A LITTLE MORE
I SWEAR THEN I'LL STOP
BUT I CAN'T IT'S TOO GOOD TO STOP NOW
NIBBLE AND NIBBLE UNTIL IT'S ALL GONE
MAN I GOTTA GET MORE OF THIS
CHOCOLATE
