The Thorned Bush !

Be that as it may..,

WIthin every heart their beats a sweet melody..,

For many are torn amidst it's true subject matter..,
Oft' why do we even think nor seem to bother ?
With pen on paper,

Nor a stereo to Caper..,
Just me and Eric B with a nice full plate of fish !
Wanting to hear the newest dish,
Out of a time well spent in thought !

Caught up in the in between the world I know..,
Then to the one I long to go !
Perhaps it would be better if I would shuffle off to Buffalo ?
Yet still, how does one even bother to know ?

With limestone upon the vast waterfront..,
Faces that will lead us to the next polished traces..,
Still with caviar along with a big fat cigar,
Some may say I ressemble Tony Saprano ?

Yet we set our course still at full steam ahead..,
Better make your appointment soon else you may whinde up dead !
Still this is the path by which we have chosen..,
Hence there is no such thing as kissing cousins !

Yet where does one go when things go wrong ?
While the cattle is outside with the horses
We should all sing a happy song..,
Else you be better off sleeping nice next to the fishes !

Now finish all of your dishes !

Our New Apartment Part 2

We decorated the new place
Changed things around
Now have much more space
Play music for a peaceful sound.

The walls are now painted shades of grey
Yet the carpets a nice brown
Living life day by day
Hanging out all over town

Its now nice and warm
great for family and friends
Good place to hang out during a storm
and this is where my poem ends

Not Here

I look at your bed, made nice and neat.
Blankets and pillows cleaned, yet their empty. Nothing in it, no arms, no feet.

Your clothes all folded, no dirty ones to be washed,
No clean ones to be worn, for you
Not here with me.

Your toys and books all put away!
Your just not here to play
Today.

Your empty plates sit at the table,
I can’t eat without you, I’m
Just not able.

No kids here tonight to tuck into bed. No
Goodnight kiss to give on your
Head.

I hope my loves are tucked all nice and tight
And think of mommy threw out the
Night.
