Premium Member Soldier's Psalm

Young men since ancient times have the battle borne,
Rushing to meet the foe at the sounding of the horn.
Though arrow and bomb will sorely add to their distress:
"I will say to the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress!"

Wielding burnished sword, bearing shield and with armor gird,
And though the tide of battle may at times be very blurred,
Through the din of strife the Lord will hear his urgent plea:
"For He shall give His angels charge over thee!"

Marching forward shoulder to shoulder, musket at port arms,
Silent prayers waft heavenward for protection from all harms.
Vacant ranks are filled as fallen heroes march to eternity:
"A thousand shall fall, but it shall not come nigh to thee!"

Above the earth airmen soar through the vast celestial dome.
Mariners sail in mighty armadas upon the billowing foam.
For humankind they uphold with honor all that is just:
"You are my protector - You are my God - In You I trust!"

The powerful message of the ageless Ninety-first Psalm,
Has helped brave men face battle with reassuring calm.
Valiant soldiers deserve the respect of a grateful nation:
"With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation!"

Based on Psalm 91

Passion Without Love

I can not understand now passion with a man without love,
This happened when I got to know the big guy up above,
Many Christians are still lost in sexual sin for some reason,
Still having sex without love like they are in the milky season.

I have seen men know Jesus possibly a year maybe two,
Carrying on like playboy bachelors and a wrong choice issue,
Desire is natural, but we must tame the flesh from action too,
Or the Lord will not be pleased and judgment will be due.

I have seen men know Jesus possibly a year maybe two,
But still choose those asleep just for someone to screw,
I try very hard to understand this out of control ********,
If it carries on the Lord will most certainly choose rejection.

~~~~~
it honestly confuses me when someone is awake, still
choosing many lovers, then the ones they choose WHOA
when i got woken up that was it, no sex without love,
desire I have had...but not the action..no actions...
I see many men still out of control in this area of their lives
posting up many lovers and so forth...
Watch and Pray
The watch upon my Father's Hand - is there for all to see.
Revolving on a million gems twill last eternity.
It tells me when the day is done, the months, the years that fly.
But more than this it blazes forth its message in the sky.
Watch and pray! - Watch and pray! - Watch and pray!
Though men will synchronize with stars, and flourish watches grand
Few can tell the real time upon my Father's Hand.
Go out of town on some clear night, and turn your head His way
Father's watch is telling you - My child tis time to pray.
Watch and pray! - Watch and pray! - Watch and pray!
A great alarm is soon to ring upon the shores of space.
And every eye will upward look upon my Father's Face.
The sun will veil its face in black, the moon will glow like blood.
And men will run to trembling hills, just like at Noah's flood.
Watch and pray! - Watch and pray! - Watch and pray!
May we all watch and pray............................. in Jesus name amen'
True Easter
when pharisees and saducess
and men of might and valour
conspired with men to rob of men
of Him the glorious power
they spoke of plans
concocted schemes
and as a wolf devours
they nailed him up upon a  tree
at the third and darkened hour
they sought to block
The Rock with rock
from granite hewn a coffin womb
as sunlight turned the dark to day
some women went to mourn and pray
they went to roll the stone away
they went to sing and praise His name
and ere they neared the pitless tomb
Behold! Behold! There was no groom
in his place an angel sat
who spoke of things a simple fact
He Lives! He Lives!
The Son of God has Life!
Death He takes and Life He gives!
the end of fear and strife
For Jesus Christ has died for you
and risen three days hence
to take away your sins from you
so a new you may commence
And It Spreads
You know the virus that disease we call hatred, that kin
we call jealousy it continues to spread that plague, the
prejudice the racism are we all stuck in that prism where
we yell free that convict that deserves to be convicted for
his sentence, but we live in a world, with heroes & villains
and all the heroes have been silenced so we cheer for the
villains, why is it we only fight when it involves grabbing a
gun or a knife but Dr. KING instilled in me that wasn't the
aim of civil rights in today's society where the trend is
being husband & wife but it's far from Holy the divorce
rate is the only thing that lives up to the hype so it's
obvious the media is the hype man that hypes you that
love isn't a issue but it literally rips threw the tissue
because it comes and goes and in a world where men
come & go and all she's left with is the thoughts and
emotions of how she was just exposed and it makes her
feel so low like she just try temporarily sold her soul and
it spreads, that mentality that men ain't this, but as an
employer the one you hire is a representation of what
you desire, so if he's a liar it's obvious you lied to yourself
making excuses for his triflingness was always bad for
your health, we spread hate before love so what's the
cure for that where if it isn't affecting us we ain't looking
back but I heard not being apart of the solution is
problem, and every problem starts with the root, so I
guess the question is how do you find a cure or win this
battle stop this epidemic when not choosing to fight has
caused us to lose
Brothers'
Two men, both in their early prime,
Had their life-paths cross for a rather brief time.
Each then traveled a different road;
Where the other man was, neither one did know.
An incident happened, which at first glance,
Some might speculate was nothing but "chance."
Jesus had become Lord of both these men,
And He chose the right time to re-unite them again.
Their bond was special-unlike any other;
Because of Christ, these friends were now brothers'
In the interval, one man had been blessed with two sons,
(Alas, the other man had not even one')
Two boys growing up together,
Loving and worshipping God; why, it don't get any better'
In church every Sunday with dad and mom,
Building the proper foundation to build upon.
And in answer to prayers of Father and Mother,
These two men now are on tow levels-Brothers'
Both married to fine Christian wives,
With whom they will share the rest of their lives.
The oldest has totaling four,
The youngest-just one, but praying for more'
'Though these lads are young, it's easy to see,
They will carry on this tremendous legacy.
To see them with Grandaddy, you can tell they are loved,
And their spirits will grow, thanks to God up above.
Some future time, when the Lord brings them home,
There will be a re-union of all men in this poem.
And they'll be all in one family with millions of others,
Forever united with their sisters and brothers'
