Premium Member A Beating Will Ensue

Forecasters say we're getting snow, yukky poo
It's only mid-October these guys belong in a zoo
We ain't ready yet
We're really upset
Will dock their pay and some beatings will ensue

The out is gone, we're overrun, it's 50 to 1, there is no chance left.

The dogs of enemy bark outside the door, soon they'll enter without request

The choices here are fight and die or die with no protest.

Sergeant I know you'll stand your ground until your very last breath

This time we knew we'd face one day has come regardless of consequence

Let hell ensue with gun and blade, we'll fight until we've nothing left

Duty commands our guns and knives, honour commands our very lives

Soldiers we are - we will face our death through tigers eyes.

When music shall ensue

The step-well water gets when clean
And lilies then blossom therein,
In drones when bees come to lilies,
Ah, music shall madden the bees,
(And me by their maddening din!)

Poet’s note: Sanskrit has thousands of verses of wisdom called Subhashhitam. A man is lost in imagination: this would happen, and then, and then… . Sure, if wishes were horses, why not? The transliteration of the Sanskrit verse follows:

Vapyoh bhavanti vi-malah,
sfutanti kamalani vapishhu |
Kamaleshu patanti alayah,
karoti sangitam alishu madam || 230 ||

Never Fail In Loving Yourself

NEVER FAIL IN LOVING YOURSELF
Fall, as many time as it takes
But never trivialize your soul like flakes.
You are no less than a fantasy;
In sooth you're as esoteric as a sea.
Keep it real for there's nothing aesthetic in being an elf.
Never fail in loving yourself!

You are not less,
Neither a heap nor a mess.
The universe took its time on you;
Crafted you offering this world as an ensue.
Don't break your soul like a delph;
Ne'er fail in loving yourself!

Just be, and enjoy being,
For its better than hearing the people who are always geeing.
Don't look for perfection,
'Coz your flaws gives you direction.
Your imperfect soul is such a beautiful combination in itself;
Never fail in loving yourself!

Embrace the randomness.
Praise your sublimeness.
Accept yourself and accept the truth,
As denying your beauty is like to commit a sleuth.
The prime thing is your mental health;
So, never fail in loving yourself!

Keep repeating, you worth it;
And you're not unfit.
Build yourself into the person you are dreaming to be;
And on that road ignore the voices of he and she.
Don't put your peerless self on the shelf;
Never fail in loving yourself!

                                                     -Namish
