Her Poetry

in all it's utter wonderment
i under imaginary pretence
a nocturnal creature stalking images
of the one my readings have made

but prosperity is her blessing
and princess clothings are her dressings
making her far above poor me

my prayer was for conformanity
but so far it was for naught
constant prayers God forgot
yet tis me who this misery
is brought
the times for her i've often sought
i stare in the distance at her walk

the nonchalant way she waves her hands
walking pretending to lead
a parade and band
spreading a happiness so contagious
it brighten the hopes
of a certian man

at time's i walk near her
for an innocent parle
praying that my pulsating heart
does'nt give me away
Dr. Cupid recomends
one dose a day
the eyes that let you see the soul
the lips that could never ever grow cold
of the rhythem and tenderness
of her voice

a representation of God's annointed choice
giving to man a gift of love
for we all share her
with eyes and ears

back to the parle
"How are you today?"
"Fine."
"It's a beautiful day."
"This dreary rainy day?"
"Yeah, I love rainy weather."
truth is there was no weather
as far as i was concerned
my only concern
"is Sandra there?"
"was Alexandra going to be there?"
i've been lot's of places
thinking she'd be there
saddened to find out
she was not

in all it's utter wonderment
and my imaginary pretence
a peasant loving a princess
at best
eyes and imagination
secretly blessed

A Tribute To Mother Teresa-2

Her eyes concerned,
Her smile soothing,
Her touch caring,
Her heart kind
Her presence comforting;
Her ambition service,
Her speech, love
Her prayer, peace
Her scripture simplicity and tranquility.
Her hymn shelter, holiness and purity.
Her meditation humility, gaiety and generosity.

Her fruit of silence was prayer,
Her fruit of prayer was faith,
Her fruit of faith was love,
Her fruit of love was service
Her fruit of service was peace.

Countless mothers are there in this world,
But who like her shines like gold?
She was an angel to humanity, a blessing and a boon.
Words are too less to describe a human like her
She was to the poor, sick. downtrodden,
Orphans and destitute a saviour.
Her name will be written in God's book with gold,
Her immortal, spotless soul shall never be old.

For the Brave Men and Women Who Fight For Us Everyday

There are brave men and women somewhere tonight
standing in alert and ready to fight.
I send a simple prayer
as they bravely march on through
defending the honor of the Red, White and Blue.
No air conditioned condo's and fine dining in their ranks.
They march on foot, or cargo trucks, in flight or Army tanks.
For all of us you risk your life, and your world is upside down.
I believe in heaven there's a jewel in your crown.

With Grace She Binds ~ Bethany

May a star be-speckled sky
be the road that lights your way,
as a comet’s tail protects you
and surrounds you everyday

may the moons of ages past
cast a brilliance on your life
may motherearth hold the secrets
as your footsteps land on strife

I watched as you breached the void
between the veils I’ve yet to lift,
I first held your hand in friendship
and my heart was thrown adrift

So, in love with your first breath
that I had nothing left to fear,
see the one thing I always protect
is something I now hold dear

you’re the strength that god sent down
to help me on my way,
my little smiling devil
and to thank the heavens I do pray

now my child of grace and love
shadows the face of the world
she is the reason I’m leaving
my paper-heart and love unfurled

this prayer and spirit is binding
to hold you on your way,
I love you my darling daughter
and will, forever and a day

for my Gorgeous Daughter on her birthday 09.07.2010

Your Only Boss

In a Dream, I saw Jesus the other day---
So I asked Him, how should I truly pray?---
He looked at me with a wonderful smile---
Replying, prayer should be said without denial---
Not understanding, I pleaded for Him to explain---
His answer amazed me, but caused a little pain---
The Lord said, pray each day in the manner I did
upon the cross---
Never forgetting that the Holy Spirit is
truly your only boss.

War

Afore likewise yonder lies the way of peace

Resting in another’s prayer and sacrifice

Think Twice

Temitope, think twice today and be thankful
For you were born-bold bright and beautiful
Into a world that is wealthy, wide and wonderful
For God’s grace and glory… be grateful

From the depth of my heart, I wish you well
On your birthday, I bring you this blessed bell
Thanking God for sweet stories I have to tell;
You are lively and lovely… you’ve got a liberal label

My pen have got something special to say
Not just to wish you a beautiful birthday.
My heart has got a pleasant prayer to say;
You’ll have more youthful year and never sway.
