Best Deathtime Poems
Place the coins over my eyes,
and lay me down to sleep.
This mortal coil has sprung its last,
its time for me to leave.
This time has been no time at all,
its true they say it flyes,
Id like to be a fly on the wall,
to see the truths and lies.
I was taught as a child that we die and move on,
but i refuse to accept that is true.
For as long as you live and as long as you love,
i will live on through you.
death can come
in the blink of an eye
you can't see it comming
when it comes from the sky
health does'nt matter
when it's your time to die
death is lurking
allways near by
a wind, a wave, someones gun
too much of a medicine even the sun
a crash, a bite, a sexual encounter
nothing can stop it not even cowards
jealosy, hatred, and our own stupidity
an accident, a robbery and all of natures furys
so it's best to be ready
when your time comes
we all have to do it
each and every one
The dying year old, bent and grey of hair
with a heart that grew weak and a soul that ached
lay in a hospital bed as the minutes ticked away
He knew his time was near as he thought back
at his lovely birth in the cold of a January morning
and how he marvelled at life all around
Young and vibrant he embraced the season
sending cupid out to break February hearts
watching the March snow disappear
Smiling at April rains and May blossoms
kissing the first red rose of June that climbed to the sun
joining in the fireworks and picnics of July
Gazing down on the yellow sunflowers of August
and wishing for summer to last forever
feeling so melancholy when September appeared
Crying with the changing leaves of October
as he knew his reign was slowly dying
he pulled a heavy coat over aging shoulders
In the dampness of a dreary November
he longed for the first snow of December
and the smiles of the children's faces
Now as his time slowly runs down
he hears the lusty cry of the baby 2009
and on the last chime of twelve
he pulls the sheet up over his face
and slips away peacefully
into the book of time past..
the day you died was just another day
i got ready for school
did my work
then went home
i hadn't realized
did i realize
i wanted to scream
i tried to forget
but every time i fell asleep
you were there
i could not get rid of you
i thought for days
nothing worked
i tried my best
all my emotions were a wreck
we left for the funeral
i couldn't stay
i looked at the coffin
i couldn't stay
i wanted to open it
to see you alive and well
to see you looking at me
that would never happen
every time i said you would just walk through that door
good as new
but you never came
i cried
waited
cried
waited
until i was a mess
but i finally
realized you weren't coming back

when is our time to go , do we know our time comes near
when do we leave our relatives and friends behind
bleeding from grief
if the time is there
what do we say , what do we see before we close our eyes
do we leave a tear ... do we go with fear
is it heaven we will rise to or will we end up in hell
breathing sulfur gasses and the sound of screaming souls we hear
do we have a date written on our back ?
and can we see it coming when our time comes near
i don't know .. it won't keep me awake ... but this is the one thing i fear
to die young , and leaving your family right here
It's the end of my purposeful day,
a prostate being in prayer
with much sincere accord,
and my gratitude is not hurried away;
it is persistent in its allegory
already conceded...
Days don't last, time does
and the thought of eternity causes a frightening rush,
not to comprehend its depth
too concise not to discern it,
making many so compulsive to act in ignorance;
time was created to confer, not to condemn a wish...
Making a comparison between days
and time is truly necessary,
because they aren't commensurate,
they only obey a command; and we humans
act in deceit and don't commiserate,
allowing vanity to exude inclemency...
Frivolous with a frowzy attitude,
we put on a frippery image
to separate need from want,
to notice the differences and deny fortitude;
and shouldn't harmony and fairness begin with grace,
or it is another informal demeanor we impart?
Days don't last, time does...
and can a mortal, like me, pretend to be God
and defy death with his ostentatious ego and live?
Every human must die and be buried with others!
Are you any superior or have a greater knowledge,
to be excluded from a fate that is indomitable and savage?
there is call now
it's time to go
it's tough time to leave
when i have strong desire to live
now there is no hope
i am stuck in a well
that's devoid of rope
i knew it, but still
argue with god for some extra days
when there are no ways
still my works are pending
earlier it was me,
who wasted time
now it's time
who is playing with me
why it is running so fast
why it doesn't take rest
at least give me chance to do my best
but there is no chance
as it is never be by chance
Death is at your doorway, the reaper nears, cloaked in darkness,
His essence veiled. He knows your time is close at hand.
How now shall you meet Azrael? He is transported across the mortimer,
The sea of the dead, he has your name upon his list, he draws closer.
Quickly now whilst the choice is still yours, what shall it be? A peaceful sleep as
breath departs undisturbed?
Maybe suicide, the tablets left strewn upon the floor, as the grip of your dead fingers
cling still to the bottle?
Or do you chose fate, Let the book of the dead make the final entry of the last chapter,
that was once your life?
Carry with you the Asphodel, the pale yellow lily, food of the dead, for the banquet is
being prepared for you.
Libitina awaits to collect your corpse, the funeral procession she oversees, the world of
Hades awaits.
So tell me, which death do you chose? For the time is drawing near.
Mum
Mum, let her sleep mother,
For it’s time, time to lay fatigue bone,
Time to cover up with a quiet rest forever,
After much ruffled in the,
Dust wrapper and grave sheets.
You have done, done most
For you would no longer mourned,
Wailed in tears for the remainder,
Even us lambs, devotee Shepherd,
The offspring here matured,
And face what life is there to live,
Expectation of saying thank you
Is lost in warring for survival,
No more, cared, feared, sleepless, hungered,
Thirst and suffered through her dried,
Patched and desert encroached jubilee,
No more waking,
Like cock crow at dawn,
Up and about on her feet,
Crouched in front of pot of daily bread,
Blowing Aeolian into dying embers,
A muttered to Almighty:
Help! I have to feed the large mouths,
Although we were still slumbering,
In rest keep blossoming like morning glory,
Let dew of death brought out your freshness,
In dream placate, dialogue, and supplicate,
To let last through life
The mark has been made
Now it is time for you to pay
For all that you have done
For all that has been
There is no escape
And you have no friends
I will make you suffer
I will make you hurt
You took all we had
And then some more
You broke this world
Now leave you fiend
Forever you are banished
To burn in the smouldering ashes of what you did
For god takes to pity on beasts
And you are no exception.
After what happened... there will be no retribution.
Cold and dead is what you are
No peace will ever befriend you
If it does it will be blackened by your evil
For you cannot love with no heart
Now, now the time has come
For see there is no sun
The sky has gone dark yet this is a happy day
Because you will die
Then all shall see
That this new world will be
The one without decay
This one will never fade away.
Where its children will not feed on its remains
Or horrify it with death and destruction.
This will be the perfect place
The quiet place...
Now with no further delay
Let your body die then decay~
all those moments when we laughed
and those moments when we cried
then that time i slipped away
and then that time i tried to die
then that time i took the cut
and then that time i missed the vein'all those time that ive messed up
are driving me insane
i just cant tale it anymore
i just cant tale the pain
my bodes cold and on the floor
just dig an early grave....
Thrashing waves pounding against the rocks, the sound
of distant seaguls screaching from afar, all seem to know
the time is near
Distantly the amber glow of a lonely lighthouse seems
to be fading further and further out of sight, shadows
now make it only visable
Fading in and out, I can still feel the numbness which
has actually become my only reprive from reality
Ever so close now, my love, time is no longer a commodity
nor is it even an equation
Smoky spaces seem to be more present than the air
inwich I breath
Even after the seagulls no longer cry, the lighthouse
loses its shadow, after the doves now replace the darkness,
will I Ever stop loving you.........
The single church bells eerie boom
Serves only to enhance the gloom,
They pass the freshly open tomb
They’ve come to say goodbye.
The vicar speaks in solemn drone
Of someone he has never known,
Someone with whom they all have grown
For they are all his friends
Standing in silence in a pew
Recalling things they used to do,
The things as youths they thought they knew
Yet never understood.
They never knew their time was set,
They knew not then, they know not yet,
Just how much time they each will get
Today they’ve been reminded
No longer can they all pretend,
The lives they have will never end,
They’ve said goodbye to their old friend
None are alas immortal
Though passions rise with love or hate
For both the humble and the great
It’s time and chance that seals your fate
And everyone is counted.
LEISURE For EVER
LEISURE FOR EVER
FOR SOME IT’S JUST A POINT INVISIBLE FEEL
LEISURE FOR EVER
AS A TASK SUSPICIOUS SYMBOL
TRY TO WRITE AND APPEASE
PERCEIVE ANCESTORS IN GOOD TIME OF SOCIETY
YOU CAN’T GIVE UP JUST BECAUSE
IT LOOKS LIKE YOU LOOSING UP
NO NO NO NO
LEISURE FOR EVER
LYING DOWN ON HIS FLANK AS QUIET AS THE ASPHALT
LEISURE FOR EVER
NONE SAW HIS EYES HAD TURNED CRYSTAL
LOOKING FOR SAFER PLACE
IN STREET DIRT AND SICKNESS ARE AT THE RENDEZ-VOUS
LEISURE FOR EVER
FOR SOME IT’S JUST A STOP INVISIBLE RISK
LEISURE FOR EVER
BUT AS TRAPPED IN THE BURNING WRECK
TURNED ALONE WITH NO HOME
HOUSELESS ANCESTORS IN BAD TIME OF SOCIETY
Jezabel Kipp
18 years went by.
Some the worst of his life..
Many years he suffered from beatings and heartbreaks.
He'd been through trials and tribulations time and time again
For so long he was just a lost boy, who thought him in the world was the biggest sin.
18 years is not long enough to live such a pitiful life.
On his few last days he looked back,
he thought of how little love he got to share.
He laid there suffering from a horrible beating.
He wanted it to be over and ended.
He started to shake as he grasped the gun.
Then he whispered "Oh God what have i done.
He was a unwanted child whom nobody loved.
He held the gun as he thought of the girl he loved.
"Just if you would have seen me underneath the scars.
maybe i would have tried picking up my heart."
He took one last breath as he thought of her,
then he pulled the trigger.
The shot was heard by the next door neighbors.
They called the cops, and later found,
the young man of 18 with such a sad frown....
