Brain Washing Works

(reference...read the poem by Danny Nunn.."The Wind Called Dolores")

Last month here on Poetry Soup, an imposter invaded my space
Un invited she came with a vengeance, she posed as my daughter
For a very good reason, I have not seen her in 20 years
She is a victim of a Satanic cult, "Brain washing" put her in that place
"The Witch" joined the site, under Jennifer Nunn my daughter
Wrote no poems, just a letter to instill fears

I wrote her back and told her that her writing was weak
Saw many holes in it, anyone could write Jennifer's name
She tried to lay a guilt trip on me, it only works if one is guilty
Trying to get to me and make me feel weak
And what they have done to her is a down right shame
After 25 years, I have got to know the Witch's insanity

If I thought it was my daughter, this is what I would have told her
Since the day that you were born, you have been brain washed to hate me
So in reality, it is hard for you to see it any other way
Please hear a little bit of my side, Jennifer
I don't know how long it will be, but God will set you free
And yes, on Judgment Day they will pay

She tried to buy you from me, that evil female that gave you birth
For $13,000 in a hand written letter proven in court
You say that you heard Grandma died, yes, they murdered her
You see to your mother, well that is all you are worth
And let other things slipped her mind to report
One of these day you will read the book I wrote Jennifer

You say that you are married, happily married you did not say
I saw the wedding picture on Facebook, looked life a hostage situation by those two
Maybe some day your mind will be clear and you can trust us
I know in my hear of hearts, you do not want to live that way
Because, "brain washing" is all that they have done to you
I know you that write poems, this is my poetic justice

Miss You Daughters Miss You

-
I cannot say why you are angry but I can say it should be equal
I cannot say why you reject your own creator so easily but you do
I cannot say why you do not acknowledge our life together but it's that way
I cannot say why you look so sharply from the side of your eye but it burns

I wonder what causes you to not to phone to say hello but I never hear from you.
I wonder what you say about me at bedtime or do you sense me
I wonder what you both talk of at the sink when you both brush your teeth. Is it me
I wonder what you think when you stare out the high window at school. Maybe Dad

I cry when I think of the times I wheeled you up the high street to show you off
I cry when I think of your smile when you saw your new yellow tractor
I cry when I think of the times you hugged me at the airport
I cry when I think how you cleverly helped fix a rubber tyre of the wheel barrow

I feel joy when I remember the day you appeared in blue and red colours Niamh
I feel joy when I remember you survived choking on that hard boiled sweet
I feel joy when I remember the day you helped with the coving Katy
I feel joy when I remember you say " Is this called being on a roll Daddy"

I delighted in my daughter saying I'll get money for you Daddy, in the pound shop
I delighted in the day we danced round the ironing board to the jumping trousers
I delighted in the day we searched for fossils on the beach and played scoccer
I delighted in the day we all caught that great big fish together

You may struggle a long time to finds these moments again but for now
be patient with yourselves till you are ready.

Until you understand and until you eventually listen to your heart and release some
of those memories again

I will wait a life time if I have to but don't leave it too late girls.

And Remember the Giant yellow moon we saw together. Well, my love is always
there too. Like the moon

Miss you daughters, Miss you.

My Daughter

Beloved full of life and hope
With the smell of the fragrance from a bouquet of flowers
Happy satisfied filled with love
Gracious successful to be proud of
Admired by me with all of my heart
I knew you were special
Right from the start
Pretty precious jewel of mine
You are simply one of a kind
I am so happy God gave you to me
From the day you were born
I knew you would be a blessing to me
Won't trade you for silver or gold
From the day you were born you were a pleasure to hold
I knew you were a gift from God
Your mother has always loved you
From the very start

A Letter To My Angel

Aaliyah Symone you're my little girl
I love you more than anything in this world
Although you haven't been created yet
I know that day will be a day I never forget
How I long to hold you near, whisper 'I loves you's" in your ears
Hold you close to my heart, my love for you will never part
I wanna rock you to sleep, kiss you on your cute little nose
tickle you from your head down to your sweet little toes
I dont know if you'll love me, I dont even know if you'll like me
but i promise to be the best mommy I can be
You'll be my little princess, my little girl
You'll be the most precious thing in this whole wide world

Forever my angel always you'll be... from here on to eternity

Cordillia

I feel you inside growing everyday,
you are my pride my joy.
Daddy is not here right now,
but you will know him when we meet up again.

We are connected in more ways than one,
You will know your parent's love and care.
I know the day i see you,
I will look at you and smile.

I will at that moment dream of when you will smile back,
To look at your eyes when they open,
And tell you that you are mine.
We will never abandon you.

You are mine to keep,
Of this i am sure.
Until the day you are here,
I will feel you inside knowing that it was
your daddy and i that gave you life.
