Fireflies

blinks in the darknight
shines like a star bright
little glow in my hands.

Twilight Vs Darknight

At the first piece of twilight
the night's fleece goes astray.
Nebulous clusters of unwhite
destines into mass decay.
And to the chorus of birds on height:
Welcome, oh sweet break of day!
Then the dwindling songs of coyotes goes finite
cause it's morning turn to say: Olay, Olay!

St Silence, the Shadow

St. Silence, The Shadow

Despise his voice
His face is wrong,
For he is not your golden son...
He feels as cold as the light
that lacks the day...
And he cannot hear:
"this will go away."

The bruise on his eyes,
the hurt in his lungs,
Brings dreams of clear rivers
made red by guns.
Just to breathe...
Just to sleep in peace tonight.
For when he comes home
his choices are bleed or fight...

And he never speaks of this again.
He found a way to break from him..
Mercy, he chose to blow apart.
He had no choice now his mind is
dark...
So hold your prayers,
he does not wish to feel alright...
He does not care
Because now he sleeps at night...

He hears no more screams when the
sun goes down!
He sleeps through the night with
silence as sound!
That reminds him that at least he
broke away..
The light may be right, but it was
shadow that saved the day!

He hears no more screams when the
sun goes down!!!
He sleeps through the night with
silence as sound!!!
That reminds him that at least he
broke away..
The light may be right, but it was
shadow that saved the day!!!!

So save your prayers, he hears no
sound...
He has no more cares, sun up or
down...
He gave his soul for the chance to
break away.
He's as empty as the light that lacks
the day...

Darknight, Bright Day Begins

Another sleepless night, In my so called life. Not one star is out tonight. Just the sound of the thunder rolling over the horizon. It is faint and far away, followed by lighting, making its way to me. Cool, crisp raindrops begin to fall on my skin.

Cooling off the heat that daylight brought in, on this summer night. Dark night, Bright day begins. It is now way past midnight. A gentle breeze sneaks in. The raindrops, that was once dripping are now pouring. The ground that was once wet, is flooding. The faint sound of thunder, that was once over the horizon, is now crackling. Lighting is winning. Dark night, Bright day begins.

The sound is thrilling. Thunder is in competition, with its mate, lighting. As I stand here, gazing out of my front door, while the rain is unleashing, it's cleansing on the ground. Dark night, Bright day begins. In a blink of an eye, I now can see, the brightness of the sun peaking in. I was up all night again. The sunshine is now drying up the ground.

Humidity is now controlling, humanity. Another hot sticky day, rushes in, making it uncomfortable to be in. Dark night, Bright day begins, all over again. On this Summer day, Until night takes over again.

Dark Night of The Soul II

The dark night of the soul

The light fades, you fade away.
Hopes never lasting, as it's fake.
Doubt, the demon, wraps around your heart.
Tears your soul from you, plays a cruel part

Filling the empty sound with forgettable words and laughter.
A hallowed echo in this vacant place.
Fading from existence, joy.
Soon shadows replaced that space in your soul.

A flicker remains in the abyss.
A Sparkle of truth that eases our pain.
The plight is needed to capture you.
Tethering your soul to mine.

From the ashes, a Phoenix will rise.
Wiser and renewed.
The darknight, a bittersweet rest.
To emerge reborn, forever blessed
