Premium Member Cruising the Danube In Budapest

Lighted Chain Bridge glints, enlivens, sparkles
Holding in view magnificent Matthias Church
And hillsides of Budapest in distinctive posture
Enchanted by milieu of ambiance on visions
In cultural rejuvenation of palaces and castles
Illuminating echoes of eclectic architecture
Gracing river banks in spectacular grandeur

As you gaze beneath emerald green water
Mesmerized by panorama on Danube river;

Where brilliant images dip, shimmer, and glisten
Celebrating renaissance as musing stars beckon
Whispers of couples voicing romantic passions
Watching river-dance twirling in each bounce
Attuned to composition of gentle water sounds
Curling tiny waves where golden dust glimmers;

As we move bit closer, holding hands together
Reminiscing of love younger-- incessant charmer
Conversing with eyes, kissing happy smiles
While congruent evocations consent with pleasure
Bashful of peeking moon encroaching on lovers.

HM: Strand Special 3 contest by Brian Strand
NOTE:
A spectacular view emerges at night in Budapest with glittering palaces, buildings, and city lights that dance on Danube waters. The lighted Chain Bridge, Matthias Church, and the hillsides are among the attractions that mesmerize visitors, especially at night.

From Liszt Ferenc International Airport

Silent night, arriving at the airport
Bus 200E, thank you for the service
Goodbye. Have a good journey in the night

Thank you
I told the driver

Waiting taxis are beckoned by bright yellow flashing lights
Walking passengers on pavement, night lights, panoramic windows, B Terminal
Cold air outside, friendly atmosphere inside. Sitting and lying people, dreamy neon night

Just walk around on all the floors. The check-in area is still closed. Silence inside
Hmm. Restless Solitude. Want freedom. Exactly. I have no peace. Moving here and far
Sleeping people on benches and the floor. I just sat down and looked around a bit

The calm oppressed me. Yes. Restless Solitude. Blood. It’s night. Everything is closed
Drinking beer is a good program. I have four. I bought these in the night shops in the city
Proactive thinking. Spend time alone in an airport for hours? Walk far and enjoy the night

Walk. Just alone. On path. Bring far from the airport, to the night. Dark. My home
Walk, drink. Departing for the airport. Walk away. Pleasant pale lights on. Lovely walk. I love
Cold beer. Fine, Tasty. Lovely. Love. Walk. To marvel at the atmosphere of the night. Oh, Love

Thinking. Delight. Walk in the dark. This is reality
Beer is cold. Mind. Walk. Drinking. Drink. Home, far. Home far. Painful love
Left in London, second love

Stay home
Saver on

I walk
So far
From the airport
There is a deep night

I am watching the dark landscape. Given light from the airport. So far
So clean, so poor. A home. Loved and left here a love. Hungary. Ancient love

Six o'clock.
My flights gone
I remember Budapest
Always
From Luton

Love you
Come back
Love

Budapest

Oh, my capital, so many times I am thinking about you
About the beautiful nights, pubs, women, streets, squares
Oh, passed beautiful decadent years, and times! Come!

Come back, please! I loved you and will love you. Nights
Yes, time is time. So many people have gone from my life
Hmm, how many passed away? I don’t know. Goodbye

Now in London. I love this city, the perfect metropolis in the world
Good to live here, so many beautiful places, and districts are here
Oh, the times, I remember all the hours from here in my time. Love

Where can I live? I have no home. I am a stray dog. Just walk and walk
But Hungary is my original home, yes, but someone holding me here
The love. Heavy to forget it. So bad. Yes, killed my life, held by God.

Budapest, I will live in you
When? I don’t know
Coming soon
Not alone
Who is she?
I don’t know

Vilmos

The moralist woman

Morning, every morning, the silent streets of Budapest
We open the restaurant, one corner from the Váci street
I arranged and tidied the terrace, tables, and chairs, and set up

People walked in front of the restaurant. Going to work
Office buildings, hotels, shops, and restaurants in this amazing area
People were walking, and I watched them. Men and ladies.

A young lady every morning walked the square, she watched
Watched me, and me her. Bombastic legs, light brown skin, great shape
Short brown hear, feminine figure, not slim, not tall, great body and face
                                                                                      middle twenty age

Every morning she came and stand front of the building opposite
She watched the waiter. Me. For weeks. Days and days. Every morning
A morning she came. She came to me. She said in my face with a stern
                                                                                                  chaste face

‘I don’t do "that"!' She shouted and turned and left in a hurry.
I never see her again.
It was a true story.

Life in Budapest

Life in Budapest is unforgettable years’ moments
It happened so many years ago, time is older
Just my memory is lively, past is younger

Yes, I live in the present past, it’s retro life
Retro comes from the fresh past
Passed age, passed era, life goes from past to past

Life in Budapest is Budapest’s life, living moments
It happens always and years ago in my mind
Dreaming life, a living dream, I live in two places, it is two minds

I live in two places in the world, London and Budapest - one mind
                                                                                       -in my mind
Life in Budapest? It was first. Life in London? (Some things are psychopathics errors)
Life gave me a second. New place, nice place, my living place…

But there is an error
Error…
Error…

Error in my life, evil ghost fly, fly…
Only emotion, only impressions
Missing a life, my fate is a cemetery life,
                                                   a graveyard
                                                        Winning life?

I lost Budapest
I lost my life
I live in London
I found my life

I live in the past
Budapest. Now.
Present, past...?

Budapest, London

It’s my life.
