The Destiny.

This is not a country for living souls
Recoiled the heart lives under the enshades
Of vampire ridden nature and all its pards
On beggarly sums amassed by the pauper
Of bleakness and cold hunger and mort
Here existing we burrowing like moles
In drenched country in termite eaten rocks.

Here are no events images or happenings
But over the same the generations waste
Cobwebbed on a bold spot their anger
In rimless cups in pale lipped liquors
Time eaten tales aimed at amusing
Lamenting on their irrecoverable loss
A loss which was never their gain
Forward they go groping in search of substitutes
In hotel rooms where empty pouches hang
Over the pegs of wealth work and pleasure
All have accepted with harried hands
Stiffening nature humbly no measure for measure
Their guts hanging loose from under their stomachs
While vultures of low airs peck their brains
Piece by piece removing the gilded frowzy matter
Leaving the skull festooned and vainly waste.

The ancient cults of sacrifices still existing
Among jeremiad rules of the gushed brain
Each fang beak or tentacle of spidery web
The venom just dents entwines with its embrace
No grief for marshalled loss no pent up for soul remained
The old conscience just sleeps in arms of lap dogs
And each hour becomes just sanctified and sane.

It is not for charter of the world do we create
Burning our brain and the light of our eyes
Each image in our mind creates
A corresponding image in the space
And each line of the verse entombs
In eternity a sightless gong
Which the poet can hear with his subtle mind
In the span of his wretched life and can find
Some solace when everything significant is betrayed
When the weed choked fields of this world can claim
Their foremost place on the altar of the poesy.

No Future No Fun Only Failure

NO FUTURE, NO FUN, ONLY FAILURE

Perhaps the thing that bothers me most
Haunting and hunting for me as a ghost
She had to have known I’d end up injured
Yet ignored what I had suffered and endured

I put up with promises I knew were secretive dreams
I put up with wondering if the lady is what she seems
My second nature obviously beat the s**t out of my first
And not only that but second nature did its f*****g worst

She must have known my body, spirit and mind would fall apart
I have too much compassion and soul within my heart
So I provided what she needed with no price, bill or fee
But she had to have known the last man to do this to was me

So now I yearn to do all the things she knew I shouldn’t do
Like drinking and drugging myself half to death and that’s nothing new
She’s comfy and I wish I were being welcomed into hell by it’s host
And perhaps that’s what bothers me most

Mother Nature Shops At Thrift Shops

MOTHER NATURE SHOPS AT THRIFT SHOPS

I watched the trees grow strong and tall
The rain and rainbows is how they were able to thrive
I’ve heard tell of one, but as for me I’ve never seen one fall
The only ones I stand among are vividly alive

The compost was years of dried up leaves and tears
The soil rich with nutrients that we may continue to grow
Each summertime we did that which we did
And in the windy and woeful winter each one of us simply hid

Hidden from the wind and the frost falling down
Hidden from the winter’s woeful wail
Those were the times Mother Nature wore a wine stained gown
And others when she wore second hand clothes on sale

Trees all around me with stories thus to tell
A thousand years old is quite a lengthy tale
Then one by one my fellow trees simply fell
Dead to end up a fence, a rod or a rail

With a thunderous thud my neighbor’s roots could hold that tree no more
The tallest of trees fell as a gasping and gaping crowd gathered around
If a tree falls but no one sees it does it make a noise when it hit’s the forest’s floor?
Then I am the only tree when I fall, although all alone, everyone will still hear my sound
