Seen: what, as you descend?
Life and death a-stinking!
Break fast around the bend!
Thy formation, O blastocyst.
From whence do you produce?
Rapier, twist! Slip, my wrist!
Pining, be profuse!
Throw sparks, O bright beryllium!
Electric wire, wild wind!
Fire of heaven and hell, come!
Tell me, tamarind!
Biennium, be bearable.
Split in half, two ones.
Pigeons, be thou pair-able?
How that parable stuns!
O boniface, thy full career.
Grinded? Inn. Goad gear.
Cliff by seaside, art thou sheer?
Are thy dropoffs drear?
Honey, O my kinkajou!
Leave it for the bees!
O for hearts that beat untrue!
Claim them, my deep freeze!
O tether to reality!
Cord etheric, hum!
Saffron scents in sabbath sea!
O tomorrow, thrum!
Helium Lithium, Beryllium
They all rhyme,
which is the only way I can remember them.
Au is gold,
O is oxygen,
I’m not trying to be bold,
but life sucks without both of them.
Nitrogen, hydrogen
are both gases,
but that doesn’t mean they have the same masses.
Those are some of the elements in the periodic table that I find important.
I really don’t know much about the rest,
because in science class I never passed those test

BF bloody fool - in UK , polite abuse
Ca California – beaches, suntanned crowds
Cb cumulonimbus clouds
CC cubic centimeters (as in 500cc motorbike)
CD compact disc. Or cadmium if you like
CE civil engineer (professional designation)
cf means “compare” (Latin abbreviation)
Da = Russian for “yes”
Db decibels - measure of sound, I guess
DC is where Obama works his activity
DD doctor of divinity
De = French for “of” or “from”
DF direction finder - for a plane with a bomb
