A black mothers sacrifice

Broken cries diluted the still waters
A mothers pain as she prepares a better life for her daughter
Her bones ached with exhaustion
Her fractured breathing heavy with guilt
Buy she knew this was the right decision

She wraps her baby in a blanket made of love and sacrifice
She hoped these feelings would be carried into her child's next life
I'm the early morn before the rising of the sun
She sung lullabies from her mother She learned
Before giving her only child a tender kiss on her forehead
Then ending her last moment with a hug

Her child's cries drowned out by the silence of freedom
Her child sunk to her watery grave
Protected from ever becoming a slave
She was born to be free
And that all her mother ever wanted her to be

Her love for her daughter transcended time
She felt a hole in her chest
As if she had been hit with a bullet
But she would do it again if it protected her daughter from enslavement
Even if it meant the loss of her child would break her
But a mother love is selfless
It's why her daughter kanoa had to be let go
Her name important, her name meant the 'free one'
Her daughter the epitome of freedom

Finally one day the old man
Will behave like a baby
Will cry like a baby
Will stumble like a baby
Will become sick like a baby
Will become weak like a baby
Will become helpless like a baby
But unlike a baby
He's going to retire from the society
Finally of no value to the society
And then overlooked by the society
But never by God
As God is kind and understanding
He says, I'm the bread of life
He who comes to me won't be hungry
He who believes in me won't be thirsty
Hurrah, the old man will be accepted
By our Almighty God
Regardless of his loss of value caused by
The unavoidable process of aging
Before he finally degenerates and leaves this world

The Baby

What do we do in America
with a spoiled, howling baby,
who throws tantrums...
demands its own way?
We elect it President.

Then we sit back,
watch it destroy its toy
and threaten us with
loss of our government
being taken away in pique

We know of the naughty
things it has done, but we
look the other way
We repeat, "But he IS the president..."
Yes, he is - but SHOULD he be?

We are held hostage by a
Tyrant, a dangerous child in a
man's body who will bring
down the precious nation of ours.

The Downfall of a Humble Man

Downfall of a humble man

Once he wore a uniform he had reached
the apex of his profession had staffs supplied
the ship did the books and administrated.
It was the best of times and too tired to read
to relax and to think about life meet chandlers
and customs official who had stories to tell.
Seen from above his position was modest but
coming from poverty it was an achievement
he and his family were proud of.
The downfall came quickly crews on ships were
drastically reduced soon he was the only on
left in the catering line, he hung up his uniform
back to the galley, cleaning mess halls and toilets
the days became endlessly long, no time to read
only waiting for his stint to be over.
A heart attack caused by the loss of dignity and
long ours his education had come to nothing yet
the illness was the beginning of something better.

Cry Not, Baby

Cry not, Baby!

Cry not my baby
Your shedding tears are valuable
As diamond and more than a piece of gold
Your screaming seconds are more precious
Waste not my Baby
Cry not for silly needs and
Weep not for tiny feels
Give Not a place to lose your valuable moments
Your tears may fall
For the pains and wounds of others
You may weep
For the great loss of your life
Not to paint black in your face
Which steals your smiling beauty
Be bold my dear angel
To face innumerable enemies on your way

Silent Echoes of a Heart

Happiness and hope, on that days rainy start,
Excited waddling Mommy, awaiting the sound of a heart.
When silent echoes came, heard my heart shatter,
Sinking in it's void, lacking the one that mattered.
The medical walls, were closing in on me,
Lights all got dim, it was too hard to see,
Tears filling the hallway, making life all a blur,
Falling to my knees, last chance to cradle her.
Never had I knew her, now she's already gone,
Black hole inside of me, I'll never move on.
Angels sing lullabies, to one who only ever slept,
Another denied mother cries, for someone she's never met.
The Lord gave what wasn't given, a hole inside of me.
Mourning the loss of a life, that wasn't meant to be

Enjoy Your Youth

In school these days
they teach about
sex education
but perhaps

they should teach
about work
when my son
was a baby

he woke every two hours
doctors said he had colic
time and time again overnight
we got up feed him changed him

and went without sleep
I can't imagine
how hard it is on a girl
to bring up a baby by herself

night after sleepless night
we became exhausted
I can't imagine how
a young girl on her own would cope

then on top of that
she can't go out
the baby won't
disappear for the night

every night day after day
that child will be there
wanting and needing your love
everyday without a break

granted the bond is special
and I loved bringing up my son
but perhaps we should
talk about the work required

the loss of social life
that most teenagers enjoy
having a child will wait
enjoying your youth will not.

I Just Don'T Understand Why

I don't understand why we live a life were the ones we love die young or the wise ones we love die too soon for us to have learned enough from them we walk on the path we choose but it seems there’s always a road block or tough times we have to learn from with the loss of a loved one that’s a family member or a child we have bared along the way to whatever destiny has planned for us at the end of our road I guess it’s god way of telling us he needed them to be our guardian angels instead of them walking with us on our path we have so many unanswered questions an things we don't yet understand I guess when the time comes we will understand the why's we don't yet have answers to an the path we walk will be the rite path in the end I just hope when time comes we will all see the ones we lose on our path an get the why's an questions answered

Premium MemberTear For My Sweet Baby Boy

"Tear for My Sweet Baby Boy"

as the tiny white casket was lowered in the cool rain
a Mother's warm tear fell from deep intense pain
the loss of a child; so precious, special and new
eluded Life's chance to breathe; denied, had he grew
a tender expression of a loving heart broken
while the tragic tear tumbled, in sorrow unspoken
it cascaded onto the covered glass enclosure
touching a sweet baby boy assigned to Heaven's disclosure
as Angel's held this tear on their long journey's flight
kissing a sweet soul to be his guiding light
soon a new little star appeared in blue sky without fear
etched emotions cuddled by a Mother's loving tear.

Ode To Baby Boy

Precious Little Baby,
Not Yet Born.
Passes Before He's
Given
A Chance To See
The World.
Mother's Heart
Torn Open,
The Many Tears
She Cries.
Yet She Has
Come To Terms
With The Loss Of
Baby Boy.
I'm Sure That Our
Lord Jesus
Has Taken This
Baby Boy,
For He Has Got
Good Reason
For Him To Not Be
Born.
I Hope That Baby
Boy
Knows He Will Be
Missed.
He'll Look Down From
Heaven
And See The Tears
His Family's Shed.
This Baby Boy, You
See, Will Never Have
The "Firsts".
The Many Firsts That
Come
With Each Year Of
His Life:
No First Baby Tears.
No First Baby Years.
No First Baby Steps.
No First Baby Words.
Goodbye My Precious
Nephew,
I Will Not Forget,
The Anticipation That
I Felt,
While Waiting For Your
Birth.
You're In A Better Place
Now.
And You'll See What
Heaven's Worth.
The Beauty Which
Surrounds You.
And The Overwhelming
Love.
The Good Lord Who
Created You,
Will Hold You In His Arms.
He'll Embrace You And
Protect You.
And Make Sure You're
Not Forgotten.

Baby Lost

Alone in a world of despair
Wishing I knew someone really cared
Reaching for something that is no longer around
My heart is empty broken and scattered on the ground

Yes I know I have to be strong
But some how every thing feels wrong
Hopeing I am making the right choices
Not wanting to listen to those little voices

The ones that tell me its all in your head
It is really ok shes still here tucked in her bed
My little girl lost to me so long ago
Took away before she had a chance to grow

I want to hold her kiss her good night
I want to tell her everything is al right
I wish one moment I could turn back time
back to when she was still mine

So to all of the mothers out in this world
Who know the loss of a boy or girl
Wather it be from missing or death
Remember your pain to I have felt

This is for my aunt who's daughter was kidnapped 14 years ago she still morns
and hopes everyday that her baby found peace where ever she is today

Baby Dillion

Life is precious, big or small,
It’s a theme we all know is true,
We see things grow and mature each day,
It hurts when a life can’t make it through.

We feel pain for the loss of a child,
The most beautiful creatures there are,
They count on us to guide them on their way,
Crying when we won’t let them go too far.

But now, we’re wondering about this child,
Why it is that he had to leave us so fast,
We will all search our minds for an answer,
The answer for why a young boy has passed.

We have to cry and mourn this loss,
We must learn from what has occurred,
We have to appreciate every type of life,
Showing and giving love to whom we adore,

We will question the will of our god,
We will question these lessons we learn,
We will worry about our next obstacle,
We will pray the next one won’t hurt.
