Tuned myself to a beat
only i heard
leaving reality
entered the absurd
looking at the mirror from the other side
Dying in the awk ward
the obvious scene
was obscene
Painting depRavED and DistuRbED
to be read
Swapping that for this
How olds the rain
Wheres the wind going
Digging in the Earths earth
hoping for some worth
DO-liciously said i fell in Love
be(*)(*)Tween your most'ist gloriously
grand trait Oars swiftly guided my
strong and long co AWK went the
swallow chasing her boyfriend
and babies are beautiful in
Spring.

Hearing the bleating of a newborn Mountain Goat
Hooing of the Bear, watching him against the pine, scratching his coat
Helping the Eaglet, with an awk to its mother to bring back to the nest
Horrendous roar of the Catamont before he lays down to rest
Hungry Squirrels and Chipmunks foraging for the bleak winter ahead
Hearing the Sounds of Nature singing lullabys in my head
Awk, AWk, AWK,
Goes the seagull
Every morning
At 5.35
Awk, AWk, AWK,
It's exasperating
Provoking,
Maddening
Awk, AWk, AWK,
It's enticing
Alluring
Me
Awk, AWk, AWK,
To get a 12 bore
Take aim
BOOM
(silence)
