Premium MemberTaking The Stage Rondine

Taking the stage so easily,
the rousing solo of a rose;
Such a dance with melodic prose,
this impromptu jam leaves you free;
Beneath a soft swaying palm tree
a garden of animus grows;
Taking the stage
so sweet and articulately
vigorous roots she will expose;
Poetry pebbles compose
and add her to it’s symphony;
Taking the stage.

Hope, Love, Fear, Despair

Why are you so glim?

Is the world around so dark and grey?

Are visions of life the scars left behind?

Putty melded, folded, twisted and bent
Articulately fermented bonded, ready to present.

A fixed heart toward desires of uncertainty
If only immaturity had some sort of EQ mentality.

Reluctant as a cat to water
Every single person has many faults to alter.

Agile, friendly warm when cold
Fragile, fierce a stranger to hold
Stories to tell of time beyond old
Purring away at passions of untold

Quietly smooth with textures of fur
So distant within time when time becomes a blur

Was once such a loud fun friendly house
Now just empty with games of cat and mouse.

The Owl and the Pussy Cat

The Owl And The Pussy Cat By Edward Lear,
He, this poet was in top gear.
Exciting, extraordinary excellent read,
Oh the Owl and the Pussy Cat the child does need!
Warming well-being, whimsical write,
Loving loverly lovely light.
Awesome and amazing adorable antidote,
Never forgot this poem he wrote...
Dreamily dreaming darling dream,
The owl and the pussy cat were a great team!!
Heartwarming, healing rhyming-seeds,
Expertly crafted and exceeds…
Positively positive perfection plated,
Uplifting, universally uncomplicated.
Sensational seducing start,
Sweetly sweetened sweet; so smart!!!
Young-at-heart-yarn...
Creative creations constantly charm.
All in all a favourite book for it articulately,
Truthfully, terrifically took…

Waves

Enjoy these 9 haikus I have written shortly, yet articulately. II think you might find this one a treasure to cherish! Enjoy~

Your love drifts away
Yes, you move me like brave waves
Your love's here to stay

You sway and crash me
Yes, I would be by your side
Gentle tides guide thee

Tidal sensations...
Your emotions are oceans
Vital vacations...

Wish you were my waves
Pushing and pulling at play...
Like cute cubs in caves

You abide in joy
You subside in sudden jolts
Yet, you act so coy

Playful laughter mastered
You are happy-go-lucky!
All negatives blurred...

Your waves of might churn
It's your turn to have courage
Let go and let burn...

Someday, you will learn
To forgive and forget...move on!
Happiness, you'll earn

Your love flows in me
Yes, you have a way with words
Be free, sparkling sea!

Premium MemberFlushing, Queens

"Where you be from?" he asked of me.
I said, "I'm from here, Flushing, Queens."
"No, where you be born at is what I means."
he proceeded to then ask of me,
and I replied to he accordingly,
"I was born here in Flushing, Queens."
"Well then where you parents from be?"
he then asked of me,
and I replied, "My parents are also from here in Flushing, Queens."
"Well then where be they born from? At what country?"
he went on to ask of yours truly,
to which I responded most redundantly,
"Both my parents were both born here in Flushing, Queens."
He then said as he looked at me very strangely,
"For somebody who be livin here so long locally,
yo sure does speak very funny."
*
I guess it's the norm today for somebody
who finds anyone who speaks correct grammatically
and who presents their speech articulately,
would come across to somebody
as one who speaks very funny.
