My quest is not your eyes
yet bluer than the ocean seas
the veneer of my desires lies
only to be free. To cast away
impassioned hearts and look
to love as mostly art.
Yet, I fail at night with stars
withdrawn to hear the songs
of love depart, to wonder threw
a broken dawn, the leaves that
fall are fast and dark.
And then I see all pleasures are
aliened in thee, so there I must
fulfill the quest to lay my head
upon your breast, and find out
far too late... that I'm the one
who took the bait.

I never thought I'd be sitting here all by myself,
With broken memories aliened upon my shelves.
Tears slowly racing down the corner of my face,
Emotionless feeling invincible easy to replace.
Stroking this picture that once brung joy,
Erasing the messages and crossing out boy.
Playing this song over and over again,
Crying behind a phone while texting a friend.
I never understood what was really wrong with me,
Only replayed the good it was the bad I couldn't see.
Broken glass shatter across my floor,
From a broken heart that couldn't break nomore.
Cold and emotionless lost in the sky,
Tears turned to blood every single time would I cry.
Time becomes evil for the clock ticks to slow,
With many thought's racing you only wish you could let go.
