I’m enjoying my journey through life’s brilliant countryside,
I’m enjoying the charm of the meadows running wide….
I’m enjoying my dreams of countless odysseys,
I’m enjoying my life in the wild backwoods by the sea;
I’m enjoying the forgiveness of God both getting & giving,
I’m enjoying the good times with my family talking and laughing;
I’m enjoying climbing the hills that resonates my separation.
I’m enjoying getting a look at my inner self’s explanation ~
I’m enjoying the life’s moments when I cried with deep distress,
I’m enjoying my laughter’s, severed words through soliloquys;
I’m enjoying my rehearsal to drape pain from my eyes….
I’m enjoying the moonlit stars that mirror summer skies;
I’m enjoying the genial warmth of the afternoon light--
I’m enjoying the pitch dark nightfall floating in as a kite,
I’m enjoying my restless existence, then would I realize;
I’m enjoying reality as I still have the strength to recognize…
I’m enjoying one more phase in my tumultuous life,
I’m enjoying learning to trust Him returning like the alewife!!

sitting at a well called
the sandy hut bar.
recessed illumination in the back
of my head draws out the characters
one by one.
my eyes flicker before the
incarnation of siduri.
she is drunk again and you can hear
the rain falling heavily on the roof.
i look up to view the bright citron
dragon painted on the ceiling winding
its way along the tiles.
a small glass with condensation for
thought asked the question.
why am i so imperfectly shaped?
now i remember all those chinese dive bars
with extravagant tiny jade forest.
siduri somehow rising off the barstool
and walking out the door.
" siduri: epic of gilgamesh, alewife and
veiled bartender."
