Once Again Around the Sun A Birthday Poem to Myself

Many times around the Sun,
With many battles lost and won.

A bat and ball are gifts no more,
And no more castles by the shore.

No more running through fields of hay,
And no more flopping upon a sleigh.

No building forts or climbing trees,
It’s doctor’s visits on hurting knees.

And watching cholesterol is what I do,
Along with a shot to prevent the flu.

And it wasn’t just a slip of the tongue,
That “youth is wasted on the young.”

But from me, there is no complaining,
Cause there are many rounds of golf remaining.

            My Son Moon and Star ~

        Approaching the celebration of his Birth

           within weeks of conception I knew
            something amazing was in Creation ~

            the Stars held a party
            sending me with one of their own
    Gazing at 3 shooting stars twinkling crossing the sky
       It was magic It was destiny taking its flight.

           In love with an October full moon
               drawing and painting I liked
             thinking of Vincent Van Gogh ~
                caught in a loss of time

          Hours going by as choosing my color
           a wittness to three falling stars
             A clear night sky sparkle's
           A once Famous Star was sent
            inspiring the tiny child inside ~

           Never a doubt in my mind at all
       child bearing was worth any pain received
      yours will be in a pursuit of a dream ~
             one to cherish and hold
          My Son was born the following August ~

    working on the set of Grimm 3rd season this year
         as the set of Leverage for 3 years .

Come4tunes and comfort me - My frenemy's best birthday wishes

2day once more was fun day, because the sun was there:
Of course! Like all the sundays, as usually they were...
if only you were there 4 me, and not 4 all together!
The sun has gone, and in the mood, it's moon day that begins

and all around the ticking sounds that I hear all around me,
there's suddenly my Blackberry: a ringtone's sent to me.
As yesterday was 'gain your birthday, told the ringtone sent to me,
As usual, I'm sending you 4 tunes to comfort me;

because I know that once again, as for many a birthday
you surely still are thinking of the things that run the same way:
There is The Sun, there is The Belle and Moon day !s their frenemy's day;

and I am used to sail away for it's too hard to see
that your stubborness clings to him and it won't let us be...
Goodbye, my love; I hope next year you'll come4tunes to comfort me.

As My Day of Birth Approaches,

I'm Reminded how Fast Another Year has Gone By.

The Years Come and Go,

And in Some Respects, I Feel Numb to the Experience.

I Feel I Have Reached This Plateau in My Life. A Level Ground.

Some Will Call it a Mid-Life Crisis. In Any Case, it is a Crisis.

Like Any Crisis, One Must Look Inside to the Soul.

I Remember how Exciting My Freshmen Year at Waldorf College felt.

Being a Freshmen in College was a Banner Year for me. New Friends I met,

New Classes I took and a New Adventure Embarked Upon.

Those Memories of College Remain, But that Experience is Over Now.

Fast Forward a Couple of Years to 1998 and My Partner Tom and I Embarked upon Our

First Adventure to Colorado Springs.

Now in 2014, I'm Left Feeling How I Must Re-Create a New Experience and Re-Connect with My Soul.

The God Within Is Always With Us No Matter What Part of the Journey We Are At.

In Taking Action, I Must Set Out Some Goals For This Year of How to Re-Connect With Myself and This Priviledge of Life.

Back in 2012, I did Set Out A Few Goals; in example, Published an E-Book on Amazon, and Sponsered a Boy Named Freddy from Ecuador.

The Light of Our Lives Is Always Inside Each of Us.

Be Calm, Be Loving, Be Understanding, Be Yourself and Know Everything Will Work Out in the End.

I Feel Turning 41 Years Old Will Be a Gateway to A New Part of My Life.

What Can I Do to Better This Troubled World? A Great Deal!

We Are All Destined For Greatness!

My Birthday Card for Linda Marie

          ~~~ Happy Birthday~~~
May Spring flowers bloom especially for you
and birds sing you awake on your special day.
May the morning sun kiss the newly born dew.
May the sun shine bright 'til the moon's on it's way.
Your birthday should be as beautiful as you
and nothing less than a perfect day will do,
so I wish you a Happy Birthday, my dear.
May love and joy be with you thoughout the year.
Birthday Jelly
Embrace the cheer of summer days
As sunshine hits your amber gaze
Treasures wait in caves of dreams
In distant lands with magic streams
Adventure day of birth's reprise
Fulfill imagination's skies
As sunset falls and rainbows pray
I hope you had an amazing and wonderful birthday!
While The Sun Is Still Up
N-ew morn has broken,
O-ne day of joy and laughter;
R-ain and chill have drifted,
M-arch seventeenth this year.
A-n early dawn is shining to light the special moment;
N-ight shadows have faded, giving way for the big event.
D-ark dusk has passed by,
E-ventide is already gone;
V-ile weather just turns fair,
E-ndorsing the rising sun.
R-ough sea becomes smooth, as the storm has stopped;
A-nother huge occasion is offered while the sun is still up.
