a small war

A small war

At the outskirt of Europe, a war
has broken out in countries where everyone drives Lada
mothers interviewed are proud of their sons
defending their land.
Should one son die, a big picture will appear in the living room
neighbors invited to coffee and cakes
his proud mother will tell what a good boy he was
and he died with honor.
I suppose in Nazi Germany, mothers said the same
until there were no sons left.
There will be peace, and everyone will claim victory
life will go on among the semi-literary people
who are doomed to live among high mountains and not learning
from past mistakes

soldiers women

The applause
I had a drink before going to a poetry reading
 since I was nervous
drank a few whiskeys and spoke dramatically about the plight of the Palestinians
I needed help to get down from the stage since my glasses were at the hotel.
The next day, we went to a meeting where the top of
The educated class go, I thought they were idiots
they had erudition but no
learning, So I got up and spoke for fifteen minutes.
The silence was colossal
think of a needle falling from the galaxy
and landing at the Himalayas, I had sinned
said the global warming was a natural disaster and had nothing to do
with global warming.
The meeting was unreported in the local paper
 but what do
I do not speak this Roman soldier’s language.

Aroused by achievement ardor, awakened by the Almighty

Blest being of mine blossoms beyond besetting boredom blight

Carving creations circumspectly

Delighted by dreams’ desire to dare and do…

Empowered toward exploits* earnestly enabling

Freed from frustration toward faith-fortitude flight

Girded, governed, geared toward growth's going glow

Hope-hoisted held high, happily healed

Illumined, instructed, influenced for instilling and imparting---

Jubilantly joining reaching-out journeys

Kindled with knowledge while exercising kindness

Living in the light, led by the loving the LORD along learning-leaps!

*Daniel 11:32 ... The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Abc of Life

If i just don't confess everything
                now,
             because I'm still
            studying the ABC
               of life...

Premium MemberResponse As Apprehended Driver

Abiding by the rules I comply
Believing they help every gal and guy…
Consider my excuse not a foolish alibi
Duty-bound, to policies I rely...

Efficient and effective driver can’t deny
Following orders does intensify
Great orderliness upon avenues long and high
Hoisting peacefulness midst traffic-caused sigh…

I am so sorry; please forgive my attempt to fly
Just to beat the deadline, verily nigh…
Kindness I ask; “You’re pardoned!” may you reply
Laws to observe and fulfill; never to defy…

My heart seeks conflict-resolution; yes I try
Now, thanking God’s intervention of prayer* ally...
Optimistically learning lesson on obedience, thereby
Paying fines by the Lord's supply.

Hope

I slog in the chasms of darkness and bask in the glory of light,
I cherish every moment of learning and very humbly rebuff pride.
I consider Hope as my truest friend, and seek blessings from the divine,
For without Hope, there cannot be a pathway from darkness to light.

Treasure

In our quest to find what our hearts yearn for
We stumble on rough paths and dust roads
Not knowing quiet exactly where we heading
Uncertainties plaque our minds and like a disease
It brings us to our knees praying for love
I say it’s good to not find yourself
I say is good to be rejected
I say it’s good to like someone who doesn’t like you
You can cry and feel the pain but yes that’s human too
One day we will get past all these and get what we looking for
Till we realize it’s not all about who or what we wish for
But rather learning to let our bodies and minds merge with the energy of others
And looking beyond the beauty
We too will find love and we too will be happy.
                                                                                        Prince Henry
                                                                           (the northern Shakespeare)

Just a Thought

From the remnants of past memories drowning tears and questions tossed into a midnight sky. Still tangled inside of Charlottes web wanting to say the way that I feel but attention is paid only to the deaf, dumb, and blind. Closed confines or a fruitful oasis. Learning to become a Dean of moods, tempers, and all of my patience. Even though my shell is flawed. Feelings are put on pause as experiences become molding hands seeing myself replaying scenes that I already record. Put it all into a bowl mix it all around and you may find yourself indulging in the flavors of life. Something simple and sweet can easily be turned sour while what’s wrong today can also be converted into tomorrow’s right.

Learning To Hope

LEARNING TO HOPE

Some days are filled with doubt
We think of life and what its about.
If I could get just one visitor today
I would know that life is going to be okay.
I hope that Jesus will stop by
His presence eliminates all the why.
He taught me how to hope today
Let go of the doubt was all he had to say
Trust what I tell you, faith can be hard
Hope can be your most powerful card.
Share your love with everyone you meet
Hope will make it a special treat.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat
I have been ignoring my heart for so long
But now I am finally learning to listen.
I know that my heart beats slower and normally when I am calm
And I know it beats faster when I am alarmed.
But lately it has not been beating normally at all,
I asked someone to listen but they had inadequate time
No time to listen, saying it did not speak!
I ask myself, how could he love if he cannot listen?
I know my heart skips a beat when I am in love
I know it skips a beat when I am anxious
But still he could hear nothing.
Why is that? Could you have stopped listening or could I have stopped existing?
Well that is plenty to think about.
My heart beats slower and normally when I am calm
And if you truly want to hear it
You must listen.
