Zombies

I see them coming
Their mangled stroll.
Their eyes so black
Revealing no soul.

I hear their groans
It burns my ears.
We cannot stop them
After all these years.

Just one bite
From this wretched beast,
Your life will be over
Humans will be your feast.

Their numbers are great
While ours are small.
Still we take them,
And we take them all.

I raise my gun
And aim it high.
I pull my trigger
And let the black blood fly.

Others join in
The guns echo loud.
It is the only option
On escaping this crowd.

More shall come
We expect no less.
The zombies’ horde
Will be a deadly mess.

Tahnee This is a scary and chilling tale that sends chills down the readers spine. The creepiness and eeriness of this write makes it fun and interesting. Thanks for the great comment on my Give And Take Love poem.
