Ziggy

I feel my emotions sinking low
And the tears start to sting
I’m lost, I’m found and then lost again
There’s hope, there’s not, then hope again
My dog, in pain, is he dying on me?
My friend, my soul, my pain begins
The sword – through my heart, right through me
I’m standing, still, and life breathes in me
My head, it aches, and I scream within
Don’t go, I cry, don’t ever leave me
Your old, I know, many years your sin
And me, had you, since life began
Please stay, I will, selfish of me
I love you, love you, please don’t leave.
