Zen mode

a wispy image unhatched
asks her lover to linger
in dreamy meadows
that love may blossom
until her very last life breath

living light in her beau’s heart
notices her soul is asleep
yet grants her request
singing soulful melodies
till the day her ego drops away

all energies withdrawn into Self
wherein no identity remains
within the field of oneness
the lovers as yet hold hands
enlivening the heartbeat of God
