Zen mode

memories recalled
are but wisps of smoke
because as the adage goes
we cannot cross the river twice
and therefore the urge to look back
has its roots in narrow ego attachments
which it is optimal for us to relinquish
that the vibrancy of the moment
be embraced and released
imbibed and assimilated
to enrich our being
