Zen Mode

to which aspect 
of this lucid dream
should we hold onto

love cajoles
invisible tremors
to meld with existence 

as yet in mind
driven by instinct
ego makes hearts cold

conjuring
a horror story
our lover sleeps

how may we
enter their dream
to reassure all is well

I have been fascinated by the number of poems entitled Zen Mode. I personally didn't know what it meant. According to the internet, it is constant attention to any message on one's mobile. I don't suffer from it. I hate mobiles.

Zen = free flowing, unfettered, unconditioned, spontaneous, gentle, mindful and aware without fragmented thought Zen mode= a zen like orientation (soul centric rather than mind-body fixated)
