Zen Koan

I feel the changes The coolness Damp breezes Flowing in waves The future holds us As does the now As yesterday is let go There in the distance We feel the winters touch Yet what's this I hear Across the mountains Whispered by the streams. Even a sailing leaf I see it touch your hand. We shall look with eyes Eyes that breath of love To hold us in our now That old sun is splintered The mountains prismatic Colours shed into the valleys In the now our feelings gather. Thoughts held and tears shown As love drops that scatter Pure thoughts of now That inner plain of forever Where we dwell together Is this a reality or dream Do we travel on unseen. As we take no Baggage. Our journeys end is seen Slowed as if to make us feel. What should we feel? It is the question we ask Let us not dwell here On such things as why. We have a beautiful journey Just you and I, feel its touch Oh and those we know. That have gone before Or those we travel with It matters not time is nought. We will gather together. In a beautiful now Colours blend in unison with our souls entwined Each to their own thoughts Where awareness is acute That reminds us again. Those mountain heights The stream that babbles Our own eternity claimed It is ours yours and mine.
