Notes About The Poem

Zen

Life's chaos overwhelms me every hour
There is no respite no time of my own
I'm in the hands of a higher power
The void of Zen allows me peace to own.

My mind free of clutter turmoil long gone
Peace and serenity invade my mind
Pathway of light that my foot is upon
Void of Zen is particularly kind.

Beautiful thoughts in wonderous array
Serene in the moment calm does invade
Silence is precious away from the fray
Where light is the power no room for shade.

Nothingness achieved I'm in state of Zen
Perfect the moment a whispered amen.
