Notes About The Poem

Zen

“All that is, is a splash in the ocean ~
Why for then needless thought flow commotion”
~ quote by poet

Seeking God's love and light, heart's yen for zen,
          cajoles us to listen
to soul's whispers before we pen,
                    words that glisten.

Dropping narrow thought, we’re in prayer mode,
          as ego fades away
and love beats in our heart's abode,
                    throb every day.

In an aspect of embrace and release,
          intuitive recall
empowers mind that flows with ease,
                    in a bliss squall.

Seeker, indeed writing is a prayer of the soul delving deeply into the adventure of life with our Creator often with "words that glisten" in a "blissful squall!" Congratulations on your win! You have captured the essence of writing in beautiful poetic lines. Blessings of blissful writing to you nestled in the palm of God.
