Zacharie

I was sorry to hear of your accidental death.
Everyone will miss you until their last breath.
I hope to see your face when I hear a knock at the door.
Then sadly, I remember that I won't see you anymore.
You watched over my son. He was your best friend.
You were like brothers until your untimely end.
You & my son,Foxhole, would go fishing.
I look into his sad eyes & I know what he is wishing.
You were a positive influence in my son's life.
He was blessed with the friendship of you & your wife.
You've shown us signs that you're still here.
Proving that the soul doesn't disappear.
I miss hearing you sing a country song.
You would get Foxhole & I to sing along.
Now, we get goosebumps when we sing.
Our voices summon the love that you bring.

Awwww Poignant and sweet. Well-done as always, Wendy. I hope you have shared this one with his wife.
