Youthful

Yearning for golden days of yore-
Obstinate, omniscient,
Unruly, unabashed, and lost -
Traded for worthwhile wisdom, at a cost-
Happy-go-lucky golden days of yore. 
Finding harsh trade-off foolish and unwise
Under a false pretext - 
Life’s full of compromise!
