Youth: Hope Of The Fatherland?

Youth, are you really the hope of the fatherland? 
Then, to the fate of this land you are bound
If you're really the hope of the fatherland 
Then, don't just try to sink other's feet below ground 
Don't just try to do worthless things when no one's around

The sun on the east is already high 
Try to wake up, so the dreams of this land will not die 

*For the youth who prefer to scour for easy money than build a foundation for their future. In reference to Dr. Jose Rizal.*

It seems that many really can't understand what it means or they are completely ignorant of it... Or maybe just really lazy...
