Yours To Hold

Right now, yourself is who you need to find Maybe you will never be mine But one day you'll wake up with regret Because You'll see I was yours to hold this whole time Feelings, love, relationships, the things I struggle most with I'm pouring my heart out, and you may never know I wrote this I hope your dreams find you, and you find a man you love I hope you feel a warm embrace from any hand you touch Forget pride, I love you I'll admit it I don't expect to hear it back and that's okay This is your life, and you have the right to live it But seeing you with another guy will be my hardest day But I won't try to sabotage it, I'll Probably drink and listen to love songs until I heal I didn't mean to fall in love with you and that's my issue not yours I'm looking at my cards and this is just my deal But I know I'll survive, when I look at what I've lost before I just want you to be happy even if it means I have to struggle for a while When I'm outside I'll have to hide my troubles with a smile The smile on my face will be the only thing fake about me I've accepted I'm not the one for you and you need to get to your happy place without me It's your life to live so promise me you will do that I was ready to dive in, but I need to take a step back If you don't want me, then that's fine But one day you'll wake up and realise I was yours to hold this whole time

Hello Alex Duffy, one day she will wake up and find she was too late. Why?Because you will have a true love you can trust. Have a nice evening my friend,
