''You'Re the Girl In My Heart''

''You're the girl in my heart''... I paused to look around It was raining The rain blowing in gusts Sweeping the side walks Golden slants against The light from the street lamps Piles of dirty snow I glanced down at my shoes They are in tatters, they come loose Feet turn into a freezing slush Getting all soaked Perhaps I am ruined too I close my eyes Wishing to disappear In this rain I remember your caresses and as you kissed My tears run unchecked You can still make me weep 'You're the girl in my heart' , you say Then what for do I cry so much! ..
