You'Re Not Sorry

Forget the poem that I wrote
Those words were long gone
Just like you threw memories away
Thought they were just for fun
In exchange of friendship
You chose somebody else
Just because he’s good looking
You liked how he smells
We used to be good
Oh that was a dream
You turned it to nightmare
But that’s not what it seems
So you got to call me
Convince me to believe you
Telling that you missed me
That was untrue
I waited late night
Chugging disappointment
Seeing you lying
It’s more than an ailment
You wore party dress
Took good shots posting on FB
But you never remembered someone
Who kept your promise till it’s three…
Day after distress
I never heard sorry
Because you think you are right
You’re not really sorry

I'm sorry no one has commented on this poem; it seems people are selfish, even poets, but if I am the only one who is listening then so be it. I can relate to this poem Lei and your fight to be heard and understood.
