You'Re Awesome When You Burn

You're awesome when you burn

Be careful of the man who's driven by ego and power;
He'll try to drown you fully, try to steal your glow.
Being good and competent will only seal your fate;
You're much too high a threat to ever see a stage.

Chorus
Burning bridges can be so final and hard;
But sometimes they make the most amazing fire;
Don't let the fire inside ever be destroyed,
'Cos face it now, you're awesome when you burn.
(Yeah, face it now, you're awesome when you burn)

Collecting trophies is not the only triumph;
Helping lives is far more satisfying. 
Being good and kind should never slow you down;
Remember that you're still wearing a crown.

Don't let haters put you down on your knees;
They're only jealous of what they can't achieve. 
Sometimes the best walk a lonely road;
Being a super hero is for the brave and bold.

Stand up tall and be your best always, 
Set an example for the younger players. 
No one is ever too old to change;
We can all make a difference every single day.
