Your Wedding

For an instant, time freezes,

Your at the Alter, looking out,

At your friends, at your family,

And at your bride to be,

Stunning isn't she,

Sparkling beauty,

Flowering a sweet essence

Throughout the room,

Then in the mist of it all, you remember

Each step you took to get to this point,

The pain and the joy in the years past,

As you watch your bride walk,

Elegantly, like a swan in bright white snow,

Down the isle, smiling at you,

This, is the time when your searching,

For true love appears within your eyes,

As you say your vows,

And as you take her hand,

Placing a ring slowly upon her finger,

You kiss her, sealing your love,

Turning, you pick up your bride,

Everyone claps, and you smile,

Smile at the beginning,

So many things now await you,

In the years to come,

And throughout forever,

This is your time,

This is your happiness,

Treat it well.
