Your Tu' Lips

You… can send me Roses
And cards with Sonnet-Stories
You… buy me Bouquets’
But there’s one Plant, I need Each Day…

It’s something… You, Yourself have to Bring
And must never stop it Blooming
It’s something You just can’t Ship…
… It’s Your Tu’ Lips

I like Orchid-Arrangements
And every Posy, You ever Sent
Get Bluebonnets… when You’re Out of Sight
But, only One Pick is my Favorite

The Scent of a Sweet, Warm Breath
Petal-Soft, and Passionate
I just want to Sip
The Nectar of Your Tu’ Lips

No Wildflower, got the Power
To Out-Whip… Your Tu’ Lips
Your Love Feeds… My Taste-Bud Needs
and the Dew, that Drips… from Your Tu’ Lips…

Honeysuckle, is Fine
Give Me Violets and Petunias, Sometimes
Sunflowers… May Follow You Darlin’
… but, You’re the Bulb, in my Prize Garden

That Grows in Sunshine or Shade
The Kind, The Good Lord Made
And I’ll Never Walk by nor Skip
… a Kiss, from Your Tu’ Lips…

What a wonderful dedication to your love's "Tu-Lips." Clever and beautifully composed. Somehow you managed to include nearly all of my favorite flowers. Beautiful work, Moonbee! Love, Carolyn
