Your Tears
Honey I see you got lost,
Walking around in old memories.
Were they the ones of you and me?
I know we still have all those hopes and dreams.
I know sometimes life is hard to handle,
So many thoughts come to your mind and are racing.
When you look through the darkness still I’m here as your candle,
Just walk towards me and quit pacing.
Sometimes we all stumble and fall,
Like a blanket we can be surrounded by fear.
There is no shame in asking for help at all,
Just let me help you dry your tears.
They fell like rain from the sky,
All your tears I saw falling.
There’s no way I could just walk by,
I heard your heart desperately calling.
I see in your face the pain that you feel,
I have the words for you I want to say.
Just know I see your hurt that’s so real,
Baby even angels have a bad day.
My love remember us walking hand in hand,
Through beautiful forests so alive and green.
A stolen kiss in a quiet moment so grand,
Nothing’s changed in my heart all is still so serene.
Let me kiss those tears from your eyes,
I will always be here for you.
There are always bound to be arguments and fights,
True love always forgives as we always do.
With each other we can heal our hearts,
No need to walk through a trail of tears.
Our love could never be torn apart,
Only those tears will ever disappear.
