Your Stone Is Heavy In My Heart

Your stone is heavy in my heart,
weighing me down until I hit bottom,
a burden I carry with much grief,
ever since you left me on a winter's night,
like a bird flying away to warmer climes,
here today and gone tomorrow,
a seasonal getaway replacing frost
as your wanderlust seeks places unknown,
you travel lightly while I am weighed down,
your stone is heavy in my heart.

I thought this sad poem was fantastic. You have expressed these emotions of loneliness and sorrow so well.
