The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Your Still Human

Your delicate skin glistens pale under the sun shining upon you.
Your hair flows down your back in tight curls.
I admire your appearance and everything you do.

so does everyone else...

I have considered you my friend for four years.
I know all your likes, your dislikes and your dreams.
But one thing left unspoken is how you have never wiped away fallen tears.

Bitter and cold you stand by me always.. fearing the thought of being alone.
We never discuss why you keep away so much and shut me out of personal affairs
maybe because you know when the spotlight shines you will lose some of your
tone.

I hate how you judge others but don't consider the judgement they cast upon you.
your little miss perfect in most eyes.
But in front of me your just another fake smile trying to fool those running past you while
your feet are stuck in glue.

You can't move...

You cannot hide any longer. I as your friend have now discovered that you are
scared, you do cry and you have fears.
Now as a friend i shall deny any judgement and wipe away any tears.
I have waited on you to open up your life to me for a few long years.
