your spring beauty

autumn paints garden
flushed flowers wither and fall
they return in spring
to saplings of yearning hearts
life blooms with luster of love

snow clutches flowers
wilted buds hibernate long
to unfurl in spring
with tinged dreams of pallid hearts
pale visage shines with love’s glow

petals of roses
waft patina in spring air
like hue of your lips
quiver with my longing lilt
unsaid words float in fragrance

mist melts in blue sky
colors burst in my meadow
air drifts desire scent
enthralled by the sublime scene
I’m charmed by your spring beauty
