Your Song of Life

Your song of life
touches my heart,
as your words
caress my ears

All my doubts
have been gently
erased as have
many of my fears

The melodic notes
which accompany
them finds a home
deep in my soul

For Your melody
brings my face
to smile, and of
this moment I
will not let go

For I know it has
the pure nourishment
the spiritual food
for thought which I
need

To begin my daily
journey into this
world, full of Your
many enemies

I praise you God,
my Father in heaven
with a sweet psalm
to glorify Your name

For You took the time
to bless me in my life,
so why can’t I also do
do the same

Daily lifting You up
in joyous praise,
embracing the living
grace which I now find

While relishing the true
reality in my life that
Your love will always
be mine.
