Your Red, White and Blue

Can you see beyond the mask?
Can you see the man behind the camouflage?

This man has fought for you, protecting you,
your children and your kind at large.

Can you look into his eyes? Can you understand
his thoughts? After so much sacrifice, or do you
simply just not give a toss?
This man is from Fiji but has spent years fighting
for you. This man is from Fiji but he has fought for your
red, white and blue.

Do we now insult him by making him pay for life
saving treatment from the NHS?

If that’s what this is..... then I’m ashamed of my
Britishness!
