Your Race

" Does it matter", I heard someone say...
" Does it matter if I live another day?"

Does it matter-Yes it does...
It matters because that's not the way it was.

You matter to someone no matter what you say...
And because of that it matters if you live another day.

So take a deep breath and thank God for His loving grace...
Then get back in line and run your race.

There is a special place in this world that only you can fill...
Your presence brings comfort and helps to heal.

So open your eyes and find your place...
There are lives to touch as you run your race.

Hi Tom. This is a very nice poem and it reminds me of George Bailey from the Christmas movie, It's A Wonderful Life. We never really know how many lives we touch. Thanks for sharing..... Robert.
