Your On Your Own

You were standing there lonely
Looking scared and displaced
In a word full of
Monsters, demons and wraiths

You were petrified frozen
Like a statue of pure stone
Enduring suffering silence
So far way from home

You were distraught by all means
Surrounded alone by strangers
Heart pounding so rapidly
From your feelings of danger

You were afraid it was obvious
Bad influences closing in
Felt a touch on your shoulder
Frightened you spinned

You were squeezing eyes shut
Trying intently to block it all out
Even covering your ears
But it didn't silence the shouts

You were losing precious time
Found yourself in an akward state
You tried to get somewhere
But instead you ran in place

You werent even close to winning
Your now stuck here on the ground
You tried so hard to scream
But you couldn't make a sound

You were trapped no one could help
Now you see that you are caught
Landed your self in a predicament
Caused by your careless thoughts

You were meant to find your strength
Supposed to find your back bone
And use your feet for running
Don't stop on the way back home
