Your Name

Your name is like candy
I held it in my mouth
Dissolved it until it coated my tongue
and all it knew was you
It was sweet enough to rot teeth
And was a treat for the ears
But now every time I hear it
All it does is make me sick

If love isn't true or strong enough to sustain us through the storms, pain and even hate can slip in. You have penned bittersweet love, perfectly!
