Your Name
Whisper your name
You achieved in death what you never could alive
Everlasting peace
But to find it you broke everyone you loved
Destroyed families
And we all blame ourselves so uniquely
For your demise
My home is a two-story glass house
Cracked already
I just wonder if it was what you really wanted
When your death
Was truly the death of all of us
I could weep
But my tears would not reach your uncaring ears
It's not fair
To feel all of this aggression inside
With no outlet
And unsaid truths forever remain a secret
I gave you my heart
But that gunshot wound in the chest told me you didn't want it
White bed sheets
Forever stained scarlet from your blood
Whisper my name
You had the audacity to die in my hands
Whisper my name
So I can achieve in life what you never could in death
Everlasting sorrow
