Your Love
Your love for me is felt so deep, down into my soul, a place where God’s love has always resided.
I had glimpses of what I thought felt like true love in the past, but I was hugely misguided.
I met you and I knew there was something different about you.
I saw your good heart and kind soul in your beautiful eyes so blue.
I heard your sweetness and compassion in your conversation and laughter.
I felt your gentle touch on my arm and knew it was more than sex you were after.
You wanted to get to know me and see what my heart was made of.
I sensed you were the man I could trust with all of my love.
Thoughts of you make my heart smile, with joy it overflows.
You respect me, adore me, and love me unconditionally…it shows.
I am abundantly blessed with a special love I knew not ever.
I know now this is real love, a true love that is destined to last forever.
You treat me like royalty, a queen and I respect you as a king.
In good times or bad times, I give you my heart, my soul, my everything.
Love me as I love you
And our love will stay true.
Keep my kiss etched in your heart
To caress your soul when we’re apart.
Remember that I love you with every ounce of my being;
Entwined deep within our souls is the love I always dreamed of seeing.
Thank you for breathing life into my heart’s yearnings.
Your love is the greatest of my life’s earnings.
